put down her book and sighed. For a hopeless romantic, I sure had a hard time finding romance. Suddenly the image of Chase popped into my head. I lost my train of thought, as I restudied his features. His Wild blonde hair, that not even the best hairdresser in Washington could tame. His beautiful green eyes, that seemed to suck away your soul. His flawless olive skin, all I wished was to stroke that skin and kiss his perfect lips. I snapped out of her daydream as my phone buzzed. I picked it up.

Nothing much, just chillin. You know I had a lot of fun yesterday, I was thinking maybe we could go out again sometime.

As I read that little message, I fell back onto my bed squealing. I opened my phone and dialed my besties number. The phone rang.

“Hello.” Her familiar voice rang through the phone.

“Jess, you will never guess what happened!”

“Hmmmm, you got your belly button pierced?”

“No.”

“You won a million dollars?”

“No.”

“Well, I don’t know I give up, what are you so excited about.”

“I met a guy.” I squealed into the phone, no longer able to hold in my excitement.

“No way!” Jess squealed. I sat up and bounced a little.

“Yes way.”

“Well, tell me more, where did you met him, how old is he, what’s his name, is he cute…..of course he is cute!”

“Okay, Okay, his name is Chase. I met him at work, I bumped into him again at the mall. He just texted me and he wants to see me again.”

“I’m coming over, prepare for a girls night! We need to talk about every little detail.” She said.

“Okay.” I said giggling. I hung up the phone and collapsed on my bed, waiting for Jess to get there. I traced the galaxy patterns on my ceiling with my eyes. About fifteen minutes later the doorbell rang.

“I’ll get it mom.” I screamed down the stairs. I pulled myself out of bed and walked down the stairs. I opened the door to find Jess on her phone typing something out.

“Hey there you are I thought you were never coming to the door.” She laughed.

“You were only out there for like a minute.” I said, and beckoned her inside. We walked up the stairs into my room. I slammed the door behind her. She plopped down on my bed and sighed.

“So tell me about this guy.” She said poking my arm. I looked her straight in the eyes and giggled.

“Well his name is Chase.”

“You already told me that, I want the deets.”

“Okay, okay, well I met him at work. I waited his table. He gave me his number and winked at me.”

“OMG he is so into you. SO is he hot, tell me what he looks like!”

“Well he has this dirty blond hair that just screams californian surfer, and he when he does the Justin Bieber flip I could just die. His eyes are a gorgeous shade of green. Really they are to die for. His skin is the perfect tan, like not to dark, but like olive.”

“He sounds too good to be true.” Jess sighed, “Well what about bumping into him at the mall, how did this happen?”

“I don’t know. I went there to clear my mind, and I bummped into him, literaly. After that we just hit it off. We talked forever. He was so charming, and just perfect. He never said anything wrong.”

“Are you sure this guy, isent just a figment of your imagination?” Jess asked jokingly.

“I know, he’s just so perfect, right?”

“Well all I can say is go for it girl, so how about a movie some pizza and popcorn, cause i’m starving.”

“Ya, let go”. We headed down the stairs and into the kitchen. I threw a bag of popcorn in the microwave, and picked up my phone. I already had Pizza Hut on speed dial. I called in our normal large with everything and two liter bottles of coke.

“So what should we watch?” I asked waving a few movies infront of me.

“I say the notebook.” Sh said with a smile.

“Okay.” I popped the disk into the dvd player and we settle into the couch, the pizza came, and after that I didn’t remeber much. I woke up on the couch with a text from chase.
