(Faline's POV)
As I gathered food, I felt lonely already. My new twins coming any day, Having to hide the knowlege of their father being the Prince of the Forest, Having to live alone and not being with my kids. I went to the thicket and started eating. I felt the sign of it was time to lay down. I just did what had to be done and later my little boy and girl were sleeping, cuddled close to me.
Another Month later...
"Come on Buck! Your sister Faith isn't scared." I said. "But Mother, What if no one likes me?" Buck whimpered. "Come on! Everyone will love you!" I Replied. We fianlly got to the Meadow and joined the young male deer and the other mothers and babies. "Hi Faline!" Jane, A Friend of mine, Said. " Hi Jane." I replied. "Hi Daisy!" Faith hollered to the young fawn behind Jane. "Did you hear what happened to Mandy?" Jane asked me. I was glad Jane didn't know Bambi was my mate. I answered her and then saw Martin and the twins walk into the meadow. They looked my direction, Smiled and contiuned walking. Bambi must of told them. "Well she got shot but managed to run off to save her fawn! Isn't that brave?" Jane asked while chewing. "Yeah, Brave." I repeated. Bambi walked in and watched Martin walk toward the young male's. He stod in the end of the line. He started walking, Without stopping he looked in my direction. Then turned his head back toward the male's. Later as we walked home I saw Bambi stand in a spot and he nodded. "Buck, Faith, Go on to the thicket and go to sleep. I'll be there in a minute. I have to get some berries." I said watching him run toward the meadow. "Ok Mother." They replied. They sprinted along and I ran toward the meadow. He was standing straight and tall in the grass. "Bambi! OH Bambi I've missed you so much." I said. "We've all missed you too Faline. Are Buck and Faith doing well?" He cuddled me and said. "They asked about every who their father is and why isn't he here. I always answer you'll meet him one day." I looked down. "Mother!" Faith screamed. I heard wovles growling. "Faith!" I shouted. We ran toward the sound and found Faith and Buck cornered by two wolves. We jumped in front of them. "The Prince of the Forest!" I heard Buck whisper to Faith. Then hoof beats came stumbling toward us. It was the twins, Martin and Ophrah. They got in front of them too.
(Buck's POV)
Why was The Prince and these other deer here fighting the wolves? Wait could the Prince be our Father? Whoa! "Faith! The Prince could be our Father!" I whispered. "What?" She whispered back. "Look how much alike we look to the Prince!" I shouted/ Whispered. "Mother!" The Prince shouted. "Take Buck and Faith to the Thicket!" A Doe came up and we started running with her. We ran to our little home and breathed deeply for running so much. "Come childern You sleep." The doe said. We curled up close to each other.
Few hours later...
I yawned to wake up and heard talking outside. Faith and that doe were still sleeping. So I quietly slipped out to see who was talking. "They're bound to be suspious. We have to tell them." Mother said. "I know but thye can't know I'm their father. We have to wait until they can defend themselves. They can't know love. They can't know." The Prince said. I decided to go up to them but I might be in trouble. "Why are you keeping that from us mother?" I asked walking up slowly. "Buck! What are you doing out of the den?" Mother asked angry. "I just heard talking and I wondered who it was and I just overheard you. But why did you keep that from us?" I asked again. Mother looked at Father and he nodded. "We were keeping you two safe from a rival buck.
Chapter six: Together forever but here one comes.(Bambi's POV)
Faline, Buck and Faith live in the thicket will us now. I was remembering some of the old times me and My Father had when I was little. I walked back out of the meadow and Mother came running toward me. "Bambi! It's your Father! He woke up!" She shouted. "What?" I asked. We ran to the thicket and Father's eyes were open. "Father!" I yelled. He tried to lift his head but he was weak. Faline came back with some grass and berries. He slowly ate them and got up. I steadyed him. "Months that pasted I figured out I have no need to die." Father weakly said. "Of Course you don't!" Mother said. The family all walked toward the meadow. The deer there lifted their heads and stared in amazement at Father as he walked. The male deer started fighting each other with antlers. Father challenged me and of course I accepted. "I haven't lost strength in my antlers!" He said. After He won another Buck from the herd challengened me. I won because of the size of my antlers. "You are a born leader." Father said to me. I look like him when I was litte. Bold, Brave and Big. We took a walk together in the forest and he talked about how his father used to play with him. I listened and stopped. I felt it in my hoofs. I ran to the open field. The doe were frozen. I stomped my hoof. They took off running. Father was right behind me as I warned the deer in the meadow. A group of men started searching the forest. "Hunting season." I whispered as we hid from man. "I hate this time of year." Faline said. "Have you lost any?" Father asked. "Oliva. Last winter." I answered.
(Bambi's Father's POV)
