Mercy had wandered off asking questions and talking to the children; I had no idea about what but I left her to it. That left me and Luc on our own. I shuffled over on the chair to make room for him, seeing it he sat and wrapped his arm round my shoulder causing me to wince. He apologised and removed his arm.
“I’m going to heal myself” I tell Luc “I don’t want you to help me just be ready to catch me if I pass out.”
“I don’t know why you won’t let me help you” he protests.
“I lost control Luc, I have never done that and I would have killed him without hesitation. I always think before I act, I'm turning it you for god sake!” I tell him
“He would have had to die by our hand anyway,” he says with an annoyance ignoring the rest of my rant.
“I know that but it wasn’t me out there Luc, and it frightened me”
“I know what your saying Lil but he would have had to die for his crimes” he replied. I choose not to answer and turned away and prepare to heal myself.
I gathered my power and directed it inwards, sending it through my whole body. It made my whole body heat up as if touched by electricity, my body relaxes and my tense muscles relax as the pain drains away. All that’s left to do is heal the skin where I had been bitten but I felt myself sway in the chair, I thought it best to leave it for now so I cut off my power and opened my eyes. I placed my head on Luc shoulders closing my eyes.
“Tired?” I was asked by the person who I thought was my brother and leaning against. I opened my eyes and turned my head to see Jonah had taken his place.
“Very” I sigh. “Where’s Lucas?”
