can't go around killing people because you think its fun. He will live." "Pity." He said to me "That's to bad I kinda liked you, but if that's your decision then I will honer it. Max will die though, because he is on my list he will have to die." With a flick of his wrist I was sent from the mansion to wander the earth forever. I needed to get to the list to help max but how?
Chapter 6: Max and I came up with a plan to get the list, but it wasn't going to be easy. I was still dead and he was alive, so we had a bit of a problem. We needed to get into the mansion, but we had no idea where he kept his list so we would have to check the places where we thought it would be. The hard part would be getting into the mansion and getting Max out alive. When we got to the mansion we went up to the front door. The security camara's couldn't see us from where we were standing so we were suprised to see that the doors were open. We entered and looked around, there were only two places where the list could be, The storage room with all the lists, or his office. We decided to check the storage room first because it was closer. That door was unlocked also, but why? "It doesn't matter." Max said. I placed my foot in the door and from the floor a blade came up. It was a good thing that I was dead or that would of killed me. "No wonder he left the door open, that was ment to kill you, not me." I said. We stepped over the door way and once in the room we needed to find the right list. There were four sepret lists in th eroom but none of them were the right one. We exited the room and went to check his office.
Chapter 7: We opened the door to the office slowly and we saw on his desk what we were looking for. The only problem was that the grim reaper was waiting for us. "Your late," he said "I expected you to be here half an hour ago." He said to us. He knew we were coming and I had led Max right to him. I got a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach and I wanted to cry. "Well, lets get this over with." Said the grim reaper. He walked towrad us with the sythe in hand. I didn't think that I could die a second time, but Max could die. "You see," the grim reaper said "This is the way that you were supposed to die, thank you Beth for bringing him to me." He swung at Max but he ducked. Max was the distraction while I went for the list, it was supposed to be simple but Max wasn't holding up that well. I got to the list just as the grim reaper almost killed Max. I tore the list apart just as the grim reaper cut Max in half. He fell to the floor and didn't move. I started to cry and the grim reaper smiled and started to walk away. I saw that Max wasn't dead and his body started to move back together, I had gotten to the list before he could be killed so he wasn't dead, just stunned. I embraced Max and we kissed for a long time. The grim reaper didn't look pleased. "That's not possible!" He screamed. We broke apart just in time to see the grim reaper melt into the floor. God appeared and spoke to me and what he said I will never forget. "You defeated the grim reaper. That is a good thing because he killed for no reason. The bad thing is that we have no one to replace him but you." I stared at him in disbelief. I was the new grim reaper. Later that day I brought Max back home, we kissed and said our goodbyes. I wasn't sad because I knew when he was ready that he would join me, and we would be together forever.
