He wakes up to being helped by a family who found him outside of the forest. After eating and talking to the father, Tyler is given a new purpose, to help aid the family financially, and becoming an adventurer will help him reach that goal. He began his first quest and was able to finish it quickly. Instead of returning, his idea of him being a burden overtook him and he went farther into the cave. Then the story shifts to a new character Gwen, who seems to be a friend of Nancy and John.
Gwen ventured into the cave searching for Tyler. “All the guild knows about him is that he’s supposed to be killing Demon Bats.” Gwen thought. “He was sighted by other adventurers going into this cave. How far deep did he go?” She asked herself. She continued going down the cave and ended up finding a bloody shirt. “A brown shirt? Isn’t it the same as Nancy and John’s. This had to belong to Tyler.” Gwen thought. She continued looking around and found more blood leading further in the cave. She also noticed that are slashes and cracks in the walls. She felt the cracks and slash423es and realized that they are fresh injuries to the walls. She continued deeper into the cave following the blood trail. “The blood is still fresh. It couldn’t have been sitting here for long.” Gwen thought. She unleashed her sword, Alticas, and used its light property to give extra light to the dim caves. She noticed messages scribbled into the walls. They read: “Help, Rank F Tyler. I’m being chased. Injured. Gonna die soon.” The messages scribbled into the wall were made using blood. Gwen continued to follow the blood trail hoping to save Tyler before it's too late.

Then the story shifts to a new character Gwen, who is a friend of Nancy and John. Gwen ventures into the cave and finds the blood trail and markings from Tyler.
Gwen continued to follow the blood trail and markings on the walls. She is going farther than she hoped to. Soon more pieces of Tyler appeared. A piece of bloody cloth laid on the floor and scratches dented the floor. “Tyler!” She shouted. No response. She then heard moaning coming from inside the wall. “Tyler!” She shouted again. This time she got a response. “Help,” A weak voice muttered. It was a male’s voice and it was significantly weakened. “Where are you?” She shouted. “Inside the wall,” Tyler responded. The wall then started to melt. A boy of sixteen popped out of a small space inside the wall. He turned towards the wall and use his earth element on it. The wall slowly repaired itself. “Who are you?” Tyler asked. “I’m Gwen. A friend of Nancy and John.” Gwen responded. “So you were sent to recover me I’m guessing?” Tyler said. “Yeah,” Gwen answered. “I didn’t want to be a burden to them yet I’m already worrying them.” Tyler reflected. Gwen couldn’t respond. “Let’s get out of here as fast as we can,” Gwen said. “Agreed,” Tyler responded while healing his wounds. Since he is compatible with all elements, he is able to use healing magic to heal himself. It doesn’t fix his clothes and leaves a scar, but it does replenish the blood loss and closes the wound. His clothes are torn and bloodied and his body is full of scars. “I’m going to have to thank them and you when we get out of this forsaken cave,” Tyler commented. “No worries. If anything you spiked my interest.” Gwen said. “Well, let’s finish our conversation once we escape this cave,” Gwen said. “Okay,” Tyler said. Then silence filled the air as the two climbed up the stairs to the entrance/exit of the cave. Then the silence was broken by the roar of a dragon.

Then the story shifts to a new character Gwen, who is a friend of Nancy and John. Gwen ventures into the cave and finds the blood trail and markings from Tyler. She quickly discovers Tyler and two start heading out of the cave, but stop at the roar of a dragon.
“A dragon?” Gwen said. “Let’s get out of here!” Tyler shouted. He grabbed Gwen’s hand. He dragged her up the stairs towards the opening of the cave. He heard the dragon’s roar from inside. “We’re almost out!” Tyler shouted. He was right. They were able to escape the cave and return to the outside. The roaring of the dragon wasn’t stopping, instead seemingly coming closer. “There’s no way that a dragon can fit through the entrance right?” Tyler asked. “It shouldn’t pass level seven,” Gwen told him. The two caught their breath as they waited for the dragon to return to its nest. The roaring didn’t stop. The rocks started to shake then the water then finally the ground. “We need to go now!” Gwen shouted. She grabbed Tyler’s hand and started dragging him away from the cave’s entrance. The ground shook even harder. Then it stopped. Gwen took a peek behind them. The dragon now stood behind them. “How did it get out?” Gwen shouted. She stopped dragging Tyler and stood her ground. The average height of a dragon is 30 meters tall, but this dragon reached three meters. “It’s a tenth of its average size.” Gwen thought. The dragon was clearly of high rank yet it was a tenth of its average height. “Tyler go back to town and alert them,” Gwen shouted. “No! I’m helping you. It’s my fault a dragon is here.” Tyler told her. “Tyler!” Gwen angrily said. “I’ll help you defeat this dragon,” Tyler said. “Summon light bow,” Tyler shouted. His light bow appeared. He put three arrows on the string and pulled them back. Gwen took out her sword and got into her warrior stance. The dragon wasn’t waiting any longer to attack. He rushed at the two and spew fire on them. The two dodged the fire and moved out of the way. Tyler fired off his light arrows
