Tin glanced away, trying to avoid eye contact. “I apologize, but I’m a simple person. You don’t even know who I am?”
“I can figure that out for you.”
I don’t remember an NPC that acted like this. Something is really wrong with this place, Tin thought as he looked away.
“I’m sorry, but no. I need to take care of these children for the moment.” Tin said.
“With what money?” She asked.
“I’ll become an adventurer, I have the skills for it.”
“And die right off the bat like a waste?” Heather retorted. June looked at her with a glare. Heather crumbled under June’s eyes. She kept quiet, looking down at the floor.
The carriage came to a stop in front of a mansion. June disembarked from the carriage along with Heather and the guard. Tin and the siblings followed after them. June turned around and handed him a business card. Instead of a phone number, two addresses were there.
“One is my business and the other is my home. Visit either one you want.” She teased. Tin’s eyes widened. No girls were attracted to him when he was on Earth.
“I hope I don’t,”
Heather looked up and opened her mouth for a retort, but nothing came out. She could already sense the response she’ll get from June. She kept her mouth close.
“It seems like we’ll depart here,” She then handed Tin one of her insignias. Tin took it and stuffed it in his pockets. “One day you will need my help.”
“Again, I hope I don’t.”
Tin took the siblings and himself to the adventurer's guild to sign up. There, he showed off the insignia and got his identification card. However, the insignia wouldn’t grant him cards for the siblings. Racial discrimination was blatant.
Tin agreed to mark the siblings as his slaves. He didn’t enjoy the proposal, but it would grant the siblings immunity from danger. Anybody raising a hand against them would be harshly fined or jailed. Nobody would dare to purposely inflict themselves with the near-bankrupt fines.
After getting his card, he sold the loot that he took from the goblins’ hideout to purchase proper clothing for the siblings. Fortunately, Tin quickly discovered a tailor that was ecstatic at the idea of clothing the elven siblings. A kind-hearted lady named Melissa created vibrant light blue clothing for the siblings.
Arlin wore a dark blue cape with a light blue suit, resembling tactical armor, under it.
Siora wore a beautiful light blue frilly shirt and matching skirt. Moreover, Melissa even made her a vibrant pair of green sneakers with white laces.
She threw in a dark blue and red pair of sneakers for Arlin as a bonus.
Tin offered to pay but she refused the payment. She was overloaded with the ability to touch real elves. She held no anger towards elves, instead, treating them as a myth. It was almost like she saw a unicorn.
“Miss, why did you give him your insignia. What if he does heinous things while using you as his scapegoat.” Heather shouted.
“I can tell people’s character. That man will become a legend if nurtured. By having my insignia, I hold a new piece for this city’s chessboard.” June argued, looking up at the clouds.

Episode Six "Adam Hitch"Tin took the siblings out of the capital and towards the nearby forest. Most of Atlas Online was forestland with scattered cities. The capital was in the middle of the world, surrounded on three sides by an endless sea of trees. The fourth side was the capital’s main entrance, a yellow brick road extending to as far as the eye could see.
They left the capital and entered the Red Forest, a name based on the forest’s blood-red trees. They had normal bark and roots, but the leaf color wasn’t green, instead, a blazing red.
They entered the forest to complete a simple rank F quest that Tin picked out for the siblings. A harvesting quest. He found the quest easy enough for the siblings, especially because they have a connection to nature through their origin.
Arlin quickly found a piece of what they were looking for; a Blue Lily. Tin patted his head, getting an embarrassed reaction from Arlin. Siora looked at Tin’s hand, wanting to receive a head pat.
“Don’t forget why we’re here.” Tin said, not noticing Siora. He picked up the plant to meet his eyes, analyzing it, before handing it back to Arlin. “Arlin found one, but you’ll need nine more.”
“Do we get a reward?” Siora shyly asked.
Tin stroked his chin. “A reward?” He repeated. “What do you guys want?”
“A head pat?” Siora whispered, faint enough to miss.
“How about candy? I like human candy.” Arlin suggested.
“That sounds good. I’ll buy you guys some candy after we turn the quest in.” Tin told them.
“Yay!” Arlin shouted while a slightly unhappy Siora nodded, faking a smile. She wanted a head pat from Tin, not sweets.
“I thought I recognized a voice,” A familiar voice remarked from behind them. Tin didn’t want to turn around. He wanted to ignore the voice’s owner, but couldn’t. Somebody spun him around to face June.
“Oh, it’s you.”
“You don’t seem happy to see me,” June remarked with a slight grin.
“I don-” He cut himself off as June glared at him. “-uh, I’m so happy to see you.” He sarcastically remarked, stammering over his words. “What are you doing here?”
June motioned to a frail man next to her. “I’m training a new guard for the one I lost. This is Adam, a man I recruited from the First Army.”
“First Army?” He questioned. “What is that?”
“They-”
“The First Army is the soldiers that protect the capital and enforce justice. They are seen as the elites of the kingdom, and each soldier strives to be the best person they could be. My name is Adam Hitch, a First Army Iron Rank soldier. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” The frail man bowed his head. Tin now noticed that the man was skinny but muscular. He resembled a typical anime protagonist with his straight black hair, tanned skin, and harmless appearance. He didn't look like he could hurt a fly, but Tin sensed that he had killed many.
“Nice to meet you, Adam, I’m Tin.” He then looked at June. “What happened to the other guard?”
“Resting. Chris is also taking a break.”
“It’s just you and Adam? Where’s Heather?”
“She-” Her eyes turned fierce, frightening Adam who had killed before. “-was getting on my nerves so I put her in ‘time out’.”
Adam looked to be on the verge of passing out because of her words. However, he regained his strength a second later, staring off into the trees.
Tin noticed his stare. “What’s wrong?
June furrowed her brows, staring at Adam. He looked away and turned towards his employer. “I apologize, I thought I heard some… one.” He turned back towards the forest.
“Are you okay?” Tin asked. Adam glanced over his shoulder and nodded.
“Focus, let’s begin your training immediately.” She waved at Tin before venturing farther into the forest with Adam. Fortunately, Tin didn’t have to see her face again as the siblings, throughout the conversation, was gathering Blue Lilies, finding ten in total.
“It’s time to go then,” He remarked. He motioned for them to follow, heading back to the capital.
He bought them, sweets, before making it back to the inn.
Adam wielded a bow, drawing it. He aimed at a tree, releasing the arrow and letting it fly. It flew through the air, piercing the tree and going through cleanly. A hole the size of the arrow’s diameter was formed.
“Good, now another shot.” June ordered, overwatching him.“Imagine if it was him in front of you.”
Adam's vision immediately turned red. His normal brown eyes flashed red. His breathing became erratic. He drew the bow and, within a split second, the arrow penetrated the tree, creating a hole the size of a flat-screen television. The tree collapsed on itself.
“Good, now another shot.” She repeated. She smirked to herself. “He will escape if you don’t get him. Do you want to avenge their deaths?”
A flock of small light orbs surrounded Adam, slowly calming him down. June’s teasing nearly ran him overboard. The light orbs then disappeared as quickly as they arrived.
“A deal with the devil and god? You are an interesting fellow. I’m sure you could rival Tin.” She remarked. She looked towards the direction Tin was in. “Hopefully, Tin doesn’t make a pact with the death deity hovering over him. Else we’ll be responsible for killing him.”

Episode Seven "Guardians"The next day Tin was handed an invitation to the royal ball by June. After some slight hesitation, he accepted the invitation and dressed the siblings up. They went to the stone castle, perched on top of a small mountain, overlooking the city. The grand castle was decorated with red, blue, and gold; the royals’ favorites color. The colors gave off a luxurious look, something every noble craved.
Tin has dressed the siblings and himself in similar-looking clothes. He understood that there was discrimination against elves, but hoped that the change of clothing would smooth over it.
The hour of the ball began as lines of fancy carriages, one distinct golden one, making their way into the estate. Waiting for the guests were lines of maids and butlers, welcoming each person with open arms.
Tin, however, didn’t arrive in a carriage, deciding that riding with June for any longer than a second would devour his mind. Instead, they walked into the estate with the fanciest-looking movements they could think of; of course, it looked awkward to the real nobles.
A butler approached Tin and asked for his entry pass, to which he responded with a golden coin. The butler took the coin and inspected it before deeming it real.
“You may pass, however.” A maid walked up to the butler, handing him two hats. He handed the hats over to Tin. “You’ll need this. I’m afraid that many don’t take kindly to elves and will attack you, so hide their identities.” The maid that stood behind her, peered over the butler’s shoulders and clicked her tongue. She whispered something under her breath, directed at the elves. The butler overheard her, turning around and slapping her.
“What did I
