thinking about it all. Everything overpowers my senses all at once. Nausea. My whole body hurts like never before, the pain throbs in all of my muscles, even by the slightest of movements. What has happened to me? My head moves around on it’s own record, to look for something but my mind just can’t comprehend any of it. Paralyzed into place. Vulnerable. The pounding in my head is excruciating, like being stabbed continuously over and over again without a break. Within minutes I can feel the overwhelming feeling of heaviness taking over my whole body and dragging me back down under.

The sound of waves as it continuously clashes against something, awaken me. A groan escapes my parched lips, the overpowering smell of sea salt assaults my senses. Confusion, as I start to become fully conscious and more aware of my surrounding. The first thing that comes to mind is, where am I and how did I get here? reluctantly I open my eyes slowly blinking a few times, luckily its night fall, my eyes start to focus. I take everything in as my eyes adjust to the candlelit room. Unrecognisable to me. In Search of answers, On-board a ship of some kind. The room or cabin had a wooden desk with maps spread messily over it, there were three large glass stained windows looking out to the night sky and the ocean below at the back off the room, a door to the far right closed shut. Apart from the small bits of furniture the room was Empty. Apart from myself. I lay on a bed in cotton covering. Half naked. Except for an over sized shirt that fell mid-thigh. Clean. Someone had to of scrubbed my body raw, to have cleaned off all of the dried blood and filth from years of being captive. My hair still a half matted mess of disarray tangles.

Drained, my body protesting as I rise up from the bed, off-balance I take it slowly, my bare feet touch the ground. Cold to the touch, once standing myself fully I walk towards the only thing that jumps out to my attention at this present time. A old wooden table/desk. I scan quickly over the maps I notice the compass with sharp points and quickly grab it. That could work as a type of weapon of defence. These maps have nothing of interest, or any information of who was on board this ship. Two candles were alight, warmth spreads over my right hand as my fingers toy with the flames. Casting shadow to dance wildly around the cabins walls. I blow both of the delicate flickers of light out. Eliminating the light in the room, to darkness. Towards the closed-door I silently close in the distance making sure to keep my footsteps as light as humanly possible. Softly I try to turn the handle but stop short of myself. Voices, coming in the direction beyond the door. Steadily I take  a step backwards and press my back into the right side of the wall beside the closed door. Compass clench tight in my right hand. Anticipation builds in my body as the foot steps get nearer and nearer. I can hear the person take an inhale of breath, before the handle firmly starts to turn. The door opens as the person steps inside the room fully. I grab him by the back of his shirt pinning him into the now closed-door with the sharp point of the compass pressing into the artery. On the right side of his neck the vain is nice and visible. The wind gets knock out of him in pure shock of the situation. Without any moment to delay ‘where are we? What destination is planned for this Voyage? Don’t even think of doing something foolish' I demand. Glaring into his eyes, daring him to challenge me. Patiently I wait for a response, my eyes quickly search his masculine form double checking for any signs of weapons.
