Chapter.7.
Zynoa opened her eyes. Was she in heaven? She was no longer in the lake but was lying in a sap green meadow. The girl slowly rose and looked around, but suddenly she stopped as if frozen. Her breath faltered when she saw a white-haired young man a little further away. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a black top. He had turned his back on her, but Zynoa knew immediately who it was. Her whole body trembled. Slowly she walked towards him, tears came to her eyes. He was really here. He was with her. "Brother!" she called and ran towards him. The young man turned around and smiled as Zynoa rushed towards him and embraced him tightly. She buried her head in his shoulder, hugged him tightly and did not let go. She did not want to lose her beloved older brother Skyla again. She trembled all over her body as he embraced her and she heard his calm voice. "Oh sister. What are you doing here. You shouldn't be here yet." Soothingly he stroked her head and Zynoa's tears came. She remembered exactly how the alliance Wolf took her brother. How they had murdered him in cold blood when he had tried to save Zynoa. "Why?" she asked shakily and clung to him. "Why did you do that," she asked, although she already knew the answer anyway. "Why are you here, little sister," he replied with a counter-question, gently freeing himself from Zynoa's embrace and looking into her watery eyes. Skylas ice-blue loving look calmed her and the blood master replied softly: "I don't know... I only saw water." She began to tremble again and her brother smiled softly, he looked down and sighed. "Time for you to return Zynoa," he spoke softly and winked at her. Zynoa was startled as he took a few more steps back and she was enveloped in blue starlight. "Tell our parents that I miss them," he said smiling and crossed his arms. Zynoa froze her tears again and she wanted to scream. She did not want to leave. She closed her eyes and when she opened them again a little later, she gasped in shock. She shivered because an icy cold ran down her back. Cyrus looked down at her and breathed a sigh of relief. Apparently he had tried to revive her as he stepped back so that Zynoa could stand up. "Thank God," said Amade, who sat to the right of Zynoa and rubbed his forehead. He took off his cape and put it around Zynoa, who was slowly straightening up so that she would not freeze. "It's good to have you back among us," he spoke friendly and Zynoa looked at the cape in confusion. She was really alive.
Chapter.8.
Thoughtfully, Lucian walked down the hallway, when he was a bit away from the sickroom he stopped and looked to the right at the windows in the hallway. The moon shone brightly through the window and seemed to magically attract him. He had always enjoyed the moonlight. It always calmed him to look at the moon. The vice leader sighed as he walked closer to one of the windows and opened it. He could not sleep now. What if something else happened to Zorena? What if her condition worsened? He bowed his head and took a deep breath in and out. Anger overcame him, he should have accompanied her clearly but Suzuki had persuaded him to stay. How stupid this was. He should not have listened to Suzuki. The man looked up, looked directly into the moon and spoke softly: "This is all your fault. He turned away from the window, his hands trembled and he clenched them into fists. "You will pay for this...", with these darkly spoken words Lucian turned around and walked down the hallway, past the hospital room, turned right and walked down the hallway decorated with statues and paintings. It wasn't long before he found himself at Suzuki's door and the vice-leader sighed, raised his hand, closed his eyes and knocked twice on the maroon door. The seconds he waited felt like hours. It seemed as if time had stopped and Lucian felt more anger rise up in him. When Suzuki opened the door, Lucian opened his eyes too. Hate, revenge, rage. What would he do now? Suzuki smiled friendly and his Vice spoke angrily: "We have to talk.." The leader sighed, leaned against the door frame and grinned. He had crossed his arms, looked at Lucian amused and smiled: "What's bothering you?" Lucian smiled back, anger running through his body as he saw how calm Suzuki was, but he had to stay calm or he wouldn't get any further. "You knew what was going to happen to Zorena, didn't you?", the vice leader asked irritatedly and waited eagerly for Suzuki's answer. He smiled at Lucian's tone of voice, bowed his head and shook it. "What would you do if I knew from the beginning?" he asked and stuck a toothpick in his mouth. Lucian stopped breathing, he looked at Suzuki angrily. How he would have loved to jump at Suzuki's throat now and instill a demonic spirit into him, killing the leader slowly and agonizingly from the inside, but he couldn't do that. Suzuki was apparently really responsible for Zorena's situation. He knew she would never let any of the others leave. "You miserable son of a bitch," yelled Lucian who could no longer control himself. He raised his right hand, grabbed Suzuki's collar and he looked up in surprise. "You will pay for this, I swear to the Gods.," he whispered gloomily, a cold fire burning in Lucian's eyes and he pushed Suzuki back, let go and looked down at him. "You disgust me," the vice-leader said and turned his back on Suzuki. His look was serious and he looked down. "You may be the leader of our alliance, but that doesn't mean I will forgive you after this and follow you everywhere," Lucian explained seriously, but Suzuki laughed out loud and stood up. He put his hand on Lucian's shoulder. The deputy looked emotionlessly at Suzuki's hand and Suzuki spoke softly: "You have nowhere to go, my friend. No alliance will take you or anyone else." The deputy smiled, raised his hand, pushed Suzuki's hand off his shoulder and patted his shoulder as if tapping dust off his shoulder. "Take your dirty hand off me. I dont take more orders from you." With these words, Lucian walked away towards the hospital room. He could hear Suzuki calling his name several times, but Lucian paid no attention to this man and walked on. "Just wait until I know all the details," said the deputy and smiled confidently. "Don't underestimate us," he said quietly, opened the door to the sickroom and disappeared thoughtfully into the sickroom.
Zynoa closed and opened her eyes again and again. She felt how exhausted she was. She wanted to sleep the most. "Tired?", Amade asked nicely and Zynoa looked up. She blinked and nodded slowly. "If you like, you can sleep," said Cyrus, and the girl looked at her right side at Cyrus. He smiled friendly and Zynoa shook her head. "But we have to go home. I have worried my parents enough," said Zynoa, looking down and holding the cape with her two hands as a strong wind blew. She did not want to lose Amade's cape. Astonished, Amade looked at Cyrus, who inconspicuously shrugged his shoulders. The deputy looked at Zynoa and gently asked, "Why would you disappoint your parents? Zynoa looked again at Cyrus who looked at her worriedly and the girl sighed. She took a deep breath and began to tell: "When I was little, I went out alone with my older brother..." Suddenly the girl started to tremble. She stopped and covered her mouth with her right hand. Tears came to her, she felt guilty. Because of her, her older brother died. She could hear Amades worried voice calling her name when he noticed how much the girl was trembling. Suddenly Cyrus took her in his arms. "All is well," she could hear his calm voice. But nothing was good at all. She closed her eyes and began to cry. Because of her, her brother was dead. If she hadn't been so stupid to throw herself into battle to fight at her brother's side, he would surely still be alive. "He is dead because of me, Cyrus," Zynoa stuttered in a voice choked with tears and clung to Cyrus. Her whole body trembled at the memory of her brother. "Why did you save me, Cyrus. "Why did you save me, Cyrus? I would have been with Skyla," Zynoa sobbed and she felt Cyrus gently stroking her wet hair. He didn't answer but gently lifted Zynoa up and nodded to Amade who also nodded. Together they went to the horses and Zynoa laid her head weakened against Cyrus' chest. Again and again Zynoa asked Cyrus the same question until he finally answered as they rode off: "Your brother would not have wanted you to die. He certainly would have wanted you to keep fighting. To keep fighting for him and the others." Zynoa opened her watery eyes, he was right. Her brother said she wasn't ready to come to Skyla yet. She held on to Cyrus and he looked at her briefly. She raised her head and she looked thoughtfully into the emptiness. Her look betrayed fear, sadness and pain. He saw her fragility, the fear to show her weaknesses. He had often seen this uncertain look in Zorena. "You look a lot like your mother, you know that," Cyrus asked and turned his gaze back to the path. The young blood master did not answer, but closed her eyes. She felt so sleepy. She could not even answer anymore. She just wanted to sleep and forget everything. Amade, who also looked compassionately at Zynoa for a moment, spoke softly: "Rest best. Cyrus is already holding you. You can fall asleep without worries. We will wake you up when we arrive." Uncertainly, Zynoa looked from Amade to Cyrus, who nodded in agreement. The girl sighed, closed her heavy eyes and laid her head again on Cyrus' chest. "Thank you," she whispered, closing her eyes and surrendering to sleep.
"What happened Lucian?," asked Nemesy, who was sitting next to Zorena by the bed and looked at her vice-leader, who closed the door behind him
