“Hi, my name is--,” said the one on the right side of the door frame. He smiled at her and moved passed the other guy.
“Aribella,” she gives him her name and move away from James after realizing just how close he actually is to her.
“Nice to meet you, I hope you had a splendid birthday party,” he says while making his way to stand before her but the other beat him to it.
“Um… I didn’t have one,” she gave a slight laugh so that the atmosphere wouldn’t seem so heavy when she said it.
He just stared at her with his eyebrows pulled tightly together.
“What do you mean you didn’t have a party? You’re sixteen, I mean even if you normally don’t celebrate your birthdays you should have at least gotten one this time because of your first shift,” the other who was in front of her said looking kind of pissed off.
“Don’t worry, I am celebrating,” she says and turns back to the t.v. then back at them.
“By watching television?” he asked.
“Yeah, I love L.A. Ink,” she gives him a half-smile.
“Oh, well forgive me for interrupting your party of the year,” – joked at her. She tightened her smile and looked away.
“So… I was wondering where we’re going to sleep because there’s no way in hell that I’m going to let anyone else take my spot on the bed next to you,” said King Matthew. Imprint
