laugh. “I was just kidding. Sorry but I’ll save doing that for my soulmate back home.” I told him still laughing. “No just come here I’ll take it from your neck.” I said reaching for him. He stepped forward and I pulled him to me even faster. Then I striked his throat with my fangs. I sat there a moment swallowing his blood then let go. I took just enough to hold me off from attacking anyone.
I looked over at King Morgread, “I’m done.” I said and he nodded. King Morgread had changed ever since coming to the castle but whatever. He started to walk away and we all followed.

Chapter 9

I caught up to King Morgread and looked at him. “Do you mind if I shift? I’m so used to being an animal it’s weird being human and walking on two feet.” I asked him nervously.
He looked over at me and thought for a minute then nodded, “I understand and it’s fine just when I tell you to shift to human do so.” He said and I shifted to a Siberian Tiger again.
I shook my legs out and quickly looked at my paw. It had mostly healed but my nail was still not fully there yet. Just seeing the broken nail brought tears to my eyes. I held them back and walked next to Morgread.
I could feel King Morgread looking over at me every now and again but I ignored it. We walked through two really big doors into a library. There was an elegant looking woman with a beautiful looking dress.
“Hello darling. Who’s this?” she asked looking me over carefully and she looked like she hated the sight of me.
“Why my dear this is Kristen or so she tells me. We’ll know her as something else though. I ran into her in a pit she was wounded and needed my help and she fed some of our men.” Morgread told her. Then her turned to me, “Kristen, this is Clarabelle; the Queen.” He told me. I looked her over and bowed my head in greeting.
She looked at me in disgust and scowled. “And why did you bring her to me?” she asked him looking him over.
“Do you really want to know?” He paused waiting for her answer and she nodded after a minute. “Kristen shift to your human form, if you will.” He said to me but never taking his eyes off of her.
I shifted and looked at her then to him and back again. Clarabelle looked stricken and cried out. She ran through the room and dragged me into her arms. I gasped in surprise and struggled trying to get free. The Queen let me go and looked at me odd; like she was expecting me to say something or do something. I opened my mouth to say something but my words caught in my throat.
King Morgread came up behind her. “She was sick and lost all her memory from before that’s why. She doesn’t even know her real name or heritage.” He told her giving me an appraising look.
I was dumbfounded and started to back away from these crazy people. “Claudia is it true? Do you not know who I am?” The Queen asked me. She looked stricken when I kept backing up and tried to reach forward.
“Look I think you’ve got me mistaken for someone else. I have to go home to my soulmate. I disappeared and he’ll think I’m dead soon if I don’t get back. So I’m just going to go now.” I said going backward even faster then I was before.
I opened the door and turned but when I started slipping out the door the king bellowed to the guards, “GUARDS! Don’t let her escape, she must stay here!” the guards turned and I shifted as fast as I could, but I shifted to the first animal I could think of; a cat.
I streaked through the middle of the guards; I was almost to the end when I felt hands close around my middle. I yowled in surprise and tried to wiggle free but the hands squeezed tighter. I relaxed then when the hands where more holding me than squeezing me I shifted again but this time into a yellow finch.
I jumped and spread my wings, when I was high enough in the air I shifted once more into a bald eagle. I cried at them all in rage then noticed the fast shape flying toward me.
I turned abruptly and flew as fast as I could through the clouds. Eventually I was panting and he was catching up to me but then I saw the trees; my trees. I hurtled to them and crashed to the ground. I sat there a moment then shifted to my wolf form. I lifted my muzzle and howled as loud and as long as I could but it got cut off when a light shape rammed into my side. I fell to the ground panting and trying not to whimper.
He stood towering over me baring his teeth. I laid there and whimpered staring up at him but he snarled down at me. I relaxed then jumped up toward him as fast as I could. He was expecting me to try and run away not attack him so he was unprepared. I closed my mouth over the first thing they could reach that happened to be his front leg.
I closed my moth over the bone and he howled in pain and jerked his muzzle around the scruff in my neck. I instantly went limp in his jaws. He dragged me out from underneath him and threw me across the small clearing into a tree.
I hit the tree and the breath whooshed out of my lungs. I lay panting trying to breath. He ran over to me and snarled in anger. I looked at him and laid down submissively. He then grinned a wolfy grin telling me he was glad I was giving up. He bent his muzzle toward mine and I gently licked it.
He held his leg out to me and I rolled my eyes up to him as I bent down and gently started cleaning his wounds. His eyes had a hard look in them and I rolled my eyes down and glanced in the woods. I almost stopped licking his wounds for I saw Bone and Crispin standing there in the shadows looking at me in surprise.
I winked my eyes at them and then turned my attention back to his wound. I got toward the top of the wound and slowly got to my feet. He growled but let me. When I was on my feet still cleaning the wound I suddenly stopped and lept for his throat. He expected it and turned his head making me catch his shoulder. I latched my teeth there and gnawed on the muscle there.
He reached up with a paw and dragged his claws across my ribs I let go and darted to the part of woods that Bone’s was in. I sprinted past them and he followed me.
When he pasted Bone and Crispin they lept on his back. He made a noise in surprise and I turned to look at him. Crispin looked up “RUN!” he hollered at me. In my state I just nodded and ran through the trees. I ran and came to a stop when I couldn’t run any longer. I collapsed on my side and laid there panting and whimpering in pain.
I must have fell asleep cuz I woke to a nose poking me in the side. I opened my eyes and jumped to my feet and instantly fell over again panting in pain. I looked up at who was poking me and sighed in relief for it was Crispin. I slowly got to my feet and limped to him. I rubbed my nose in his neck then let go. “What happened?” he asked me looking at me worriedly.
“From the beginning or from where I met that other wolf?” I asked him not looking him in the eye.
“I think the beginning would be best.” Crispin said lowering himself until he laid on the ground.
I looked down at him and told him everything from Twig’s crying to falling asleep here.
He nodded “Have you even wondered why that King Morgread and Queen Clarabelle said that stuff to you?” he asked me his head tilted sideways.
I shook my head and looked at him “I was too busy since then trying to get back to you that I didn’t even really register what he said.” I told him looking down in shame for letting me emotions get the best of me.
He padded over to me and licked my muzzle, “I’m glad your back I was starting to worry about you. So I take it that you found Twig a home?” Crispin asked nuzzling my neck.
A sob escaped my throat but other than that my voice was normal, “Yes I found him a home with an older couple… he will fit in and he’s already forgotten about us.” I said standing and turning away and walked into the woods toward the caves.
Crispin ran to catch up with me. “What’s wrong Kristen?” he asked quietly looking me over and butting his head into my shoulder.
“When I left he didn’t cry for me to not leave he just cried into the shoulder of the women because I was leaving he didn’t even look back at me, not he not even asked me to not leave him there.” I said another sob escaping my throat.
Crispin licked my muzzle then butted his head as hard as he could into my shoulder.
I yipped in surprise and stumbled. I looked at him my eyes wide. Crispin was grinning and I charged forward with a bark and jumped him. He rolled but I was too fast I tripped him and he fell heavily on his side with a thump.
I laughed and stood over him smiling happily, he stood up shook himself then padded around me smelling me and nuzzling his head as he walked. I shivered and it had nothing to do with the cold. “Shift into a human.” Crispin said suddenly.
I looked at him but did as he said I shifted not worrying over clothes. I stood in front of him naked and he shifted as well. I now stood there gazing at his naked body. His mocha colored skin, his well sculpted chest, arms and legs. Then I stared at his ‘manparts’. He was beautiful, full, long and big and I knew from right then that he would fill me up wonderfully and that he would hit the end of me blurring the lines between pain and pleasure.
I looked back up into his eyes and I saw lust there. He reached forward and dragged me toward his body. He kissed me then let his mouth slide down from mine to my neck. I moaned when he bit the pulse there but he continued his way down my body but lingering at my chest. He took me into his mouth and sucked as hard as he could. I moaned and looked down at him on his knees sucking my breast. He let go of my breast and I whimpered but he continued his way down my stomach. Then he tripped me and I fell hard on my butt in front of him. He grinned when I grasped in surprise.
He then laid me gentle back and covered my body with his as he shoved himself inside me as hard as he could. I moaned and moved my hips in time with his. He brought me and he came himself. He collapsed
