“I… I’ll get her back. I’ll take care of that man who took him.” He turned around, but his mother caught him before he escaped. She grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
“What?” He asked, irritated. “Let me go, I’m going for that man.”
She shook his head. “H-He said… If we don’t go for her… she’ll be okay. If we go, the g-government will punish us.”
“To hell with the government! They took my sister!” His mother nodded through her sobs. She agreed with him, but couldn’t say it. She could only nod, confirming to Lutz that she knew it was wrong to not go after her.
Lutz crouched down to meet his mother’s stare. “I’m going to get her back. I promise.”
She nodded, sticking out her pinkie finger. He linked pinkies with her. “I promise I’ll get her back.” He told her. She nodded again, releasing him as soon as she was consumed by her sobs.
Lutz turned away from her, reloading his rifle and crossbow. The silenced pistol had been taken by Blint when he invaded the house, leaving only two weapons for his revenge. Although both were long-range weapons, it was enough for him. He headed towards the door, stopping at the door frame. “I’ll be back with her, I promise. Then I’ll get rid of the government. To hell with them!”

Sam trudged towards Checkpoint Echo with Sila in tow. She was a sobbing mess who called out to her brother… who wasn’t there for her. “Shut up!” He barked at her, but she didn’t listen. Damn kid, bursting my eardrums. Shut up and keep moving. He had to keep kicking at her to make her move; a brutal tactic that he didn’t mind using against a young girl.
“We’re almost there, so shut up.” He tried again to no avail. She wouldn’t stop. “Damn, if you weren’t important to those nutjobs posing as scientists, I would’ve already killed you.” He said before moving forward. She was important because she would help create the vaccine to end the quarantine… if it could ever end. If it could ever end… It could never end.
Hello All!
Thank you for reading the first season of the Remnant Saga, known as Quarantine. I had a lot of fun with the series and its characters. The character of Lutz and his small group of characters were interesting and I hope to invest more time with them and new survivors in a second season; this series has been renewed for two more seasons with the fourth season depending on the public’s reactions.
Quarantine was a fun project that wasn’t large in scope, most of the episodes taking place in the suburbs of Taken and at Lutz’s house, and was nowhere close to being as tiring as a season of Legend (believe me, those fifteen episodes are a hassle to plan and write. If it wasn’t for my love for the series, I would have stopped writing it a long time ago). It was a small project that served as a fun addition to this *Generation’s roster of series. I’ve enjoyed the time I put into the series and hope that you all enjoyed it as much as I did. I can’t wait for the second season, which will be announced via an information-based event similar to Nintendo Direct known as Jayhawk Alert (which can be found on Scrapped via Bookrix.com by typing in “Scrapped” into the search bar).
Again, thank you for reading this series and this short rant of myself. Below will be the other series in this *Generation. Until next time, I bid you all a good day!
Generation VIII:
The UNDEAD S1 {Remaster} [Monday]
Archer & Disciple S1 {Remaster} [Monday - begins after The UNDEAD S1 ends]
Hunters & Dragons S1 {Remaster} [Tuesday]
Rune and His Instant Kill S1 {Remaster} [Wednesday]
Accomplice S1 {Soft-reboot} [Thursday]
Remnant Saga S1: Quarantine [Saturday]
Troy: The Demon Knight S2: Demonic Past [Sunday]
*The term Generation refers to Jayhawk Television’s 3 - 6 titles releasing their season’s worth of episodes during an eleven to sixteen-week period. With every episode released from the titles, 3 - 6 new titles will take their spots. When this occurs, a new Generation is created. This Generation (Gen. VII) replaces the previous titles that take over the release day slots.
