are you doing this?”
“You’re the one who can save me”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“But you do. I was there when you least expected it, I was there helping you. That beautiful black hair of yours and those cute hazel eyes make you look like a pretty emo princess.
“SHUT UP!!! I know what you’re doing your trying to manipulate me to give you this.” I held up my necklace. He slowly melted into a giant puddle and rose from the puddle into the ugliest/scariest thing I’ve ever seen (Big throw up green eyes, gills on his head, one giant pig nose, and to top all that a huge hole in his stomach so you can see inside.)
I woke up screaming so loud that C.J started screaming, Felicity nearly wet herself, and Melody punched C.J in the face. They all huddled around me wondering what was going on. I just hoped that the dream wasn’t true.
“That thing was… my dad.” I said kind of whispering.
“Hey, it was all a dream,” C.J said as he held my hand. I giggled.
“We have to go,” Melody said
C.J walked us out of the garage and kissed Felicity on the cheek. “Bye,” He said.
“Bye C.J,” We all said at the same time as we walked away.
“Hey Melody, do you remember that Dustin dude you used to like?” I asked
“Yeah why wouldn’t I, he’s so hot,”
Melody said as she blushed. Felicity slapped Melody on the arm.
“That’s my brother you’re talking about. Also he’s seventeen and you’re fifteen.” She said.
Lillian turned to me and gave Melody the psycho hand signal. I nodded in agreement.
“Ashley’s fourteen and she’s dating a seventeen year old,” Melody said.
“Age doesn’t matter to me,” I said
We found a huge indoor skate park. And saw a bunch of hot guys surrounding the place. We snuck in without paying and saw a bunch of hot guys skating and staring at us. We were all in gothic/emo clothes except Lillian. She was in a tube top, my bracelet, and semi-short shorts. All the guys started staring at us and flirting with us. One even said I was the Juliet to his Romeo and kissed my hand. I looked around and saw that we were the only girls here.
The only boy I could think about was Brandon. He was the guy of my dreams. I noticed that all my friends were with a guy except me. I saw someone that looked exactly like Brandon. I ran to him and touched his shoulder but it was some guy I never met before.
I saw a cop come in the building I ran to a window as far from the cop as possible. I peeked out the window. There were cops all over the front of the place. But the worst part was my mom was with them. I grabbed Felicity, Melody, and Lillian.
“The police are here, with my mom,” I said in a scared tone.
“Follow me,” Lillian said.
She ran to the bathroom, and snuck through the tiny window in the stall. We all followed her out the window. We all ran as the police searched inside. We ran all the way to a park and fell down and laid there. We all burst out laughing.

When what you want is all you have

Chapter 3
When what you want is all you have
“Ashley we’ve been walking for hours; when are we going to stop?” Lillian whined.
“Yeah, I want to go to bed,” Felicity said.
“Fine I’m positive they have a free room to use,” I say as I point to a giant mansion. I ran on the pavement to get to the door. I knocked so hard that my knuckles hurt. “Yes?” Said a man with no hair, a French mustache, and a tuxedo.
“Would you mind if we rested here for a night?” Melody asked.
“I would think not,” Said the man as he was shutting the door.
Then I heard I someone say “Henry move.” and a girl with straight blonde hair, an Areopostale shirt on, and on the short side. “Hi I’m Alice,” Said the girl. “You want to stay the night?”
“Yes my lady,” Felicity said.
“Listen I’m just a teenager so don’t give me that crap. Okay?” Alice said. Melody and I burst out laughing. Lillian stood there looking lost and Felicity looked as red as her hair. “Come on in,” Alice said. We followed Alice inside.
The man ran to Alice and said “Remember your father said no one comes over without his permission.”
“Henry when was the last time you had fun?” Alice asked.
“Excuse me?” He said. Alice reached in her pocket and pulled out three hundred dollars.
“Go on vacation.” She said
“Your father said to watch you, and that’s what I’m going to do.”
“Do you want to keep your job?” She said. He nodded. “Then leave,” She said to him.
I felt a chill go down my spine and then I heard the T.V. say there were four girls missing and numerous amounts of murders wherever there spotted. “I quickly reached for the remote and changed the channel, but it was still news. I heard that there was a murder in Woodbridge. And saw C.J’s grandmother on the T.V. she said “I don’t know what to do with myself now that C.J is dead.” A tear rushed down my cheek. I could tell it was my necklace, there after it. My mother always told me I was special, that I would know when the time was right, and to never take my necklace off.
“Nice necklace,” Alice said “I have some of my own.”
“Really? How many?” I ask.
“Around twenty-three,” Alice said with a sigh.
“Do you think we can have three of them?” I asked
“Take as many as you want my father dug them out of a tomb and let me have them. They give me nightmares.”
“Thanks” We all said as she gave them to us.
That night I heard a thump on the floor and a scream. All I could see was a black figure in front of me. My eyes slowly adjusted to the light… it was the thing I saw in my dream. It reached for my necklace, but I grabbed it first. I put all my weight to it and it began to glow. This huge beam of light came out of it. It felt like trying to get your kidney out of your body with only your hands (in other words really difficult). The thing tripped and fell on melody then got up and flew out the window and into the night. I was as pale as a ghost and my necklace was glowing. I thought it was just a necklace but it’s much more than that. Everyone surrounded me. We had to leave so we wouldn’t meet with monster thing again.
“Goodbye Alice,” I said
We all said “Thank you.” And we left.
As we were walking we found this huge rive filled with trout and a bunch of cool rocks. We also found this cave with fresh clear water. Felicity stated to moan
“Can you make dinner for us Melody?” She asked.
“No I’m way to tired I’d pass out in the pan,” Melody said.
“None else can cook though,” I said.
“Hello? I can cook just fine,” Lillian said
“Well then cook for us,” Melody said.
“Okay I need seven medium sticks, three logs, four twigs, paper, and four fish.
I had to get the sticks and paper. After I found the sticks I found this tent in the middle of the woods and looked for someone around it. I didn’t see anyone so I went inside looking for paper. I found four pieces. Then I saw this person in the distance so I ran as fast as I could away from it. I ran back to Lillian and gave her all of the sticks and paper. Lillian crunched the paper up in balls and put them on the ground. Then she put the twigs in a teepee shape over the paper. After that she put the logs up in a teepee shape over the twigs. Then she made a grill over the un-lit fire and skinned the fish. After she put the fish on the grill and lit the fire. They cooked for about 5 minutes.
An old lady in what seemed to be a belly-shirt and ripped up shorts came to me. I could tell she was old because she had about fifteen hairs on her head. She ran up to me and screamed in a sketchy voice “Get off my woods!”
We all ran but Lillian grabbed the fish then ran. We ran out of the woods and ate our fish trying not to laugh. At that moment I knew how important my friends were. No they weren’t my friends. They were my family. And if I lost them, I lost me. I couldn’t live without them
