"Ssshhhhh, I was just pulling your leg," I said gently while running my fingers through his fur. He wrapped his paw tightly around my body making me smile. We sat like that for God knows how long. Being in his arms makes me complete. How funny, sometimes we find peace in the arms of the person who is responsible for our destruction.

I smiled and started rubbing behind his ears making him growl. I laughed and looked at him. My eyes went wide seeing his muddy paws.

"Zion," I glared at him. He looked at me and tilted his head. I shook my head at him.

"You're dirty," I said absentmindedly and he growled at me. Guess, I wound his muscularity. I laughed at him and kissed his furry head.

"I mean your paws," I said.

"Let's wash you up," I said and got down from the bed. He growled at me but I ignored him and started heading to the washroom. My phone dinged again and I went to the nightstand to take it. Opening my phone, my forehead scrunched in confusion. Jessica texted saying she wants to meet me. Why would she want to meet me? Does she want to talk about Alpha Xavier or Noah? I was lost in my thoughts when I felt something wet on my cheek. I shrieked and looked to see that Zion was licking my face. I fake glared at him and he started licking my neck. I giggled and hugged him.

"Let's go," I giggled and dragged him towards the washroom. I went inside the washroom and he was following me. He put his one paw in and tried to put the other one too when he got stuck between the door. I looked at him and burst out laughing. It was so funny, seeing the big bad Alpha stuck in the door. I was laughing so hard that my belly started hurting. He wailed and I put my hand over my mouth to stop myself from busting out laughing again. I went towards him and started pulling him from his paws. He was so heavy.

"1, 2, 3...," I pulled again and he got free. We stumbled back from the force and fell into the bathtub. Water splashed over us making us wet. I looked at him to see that he was already staring at me. A pleasurable shiver runs down my spine at his intense gaze. Jerking my head to stop myself from being in LaLa land, I stood up and went towards the shower but not before closing the washroom door.

"Come," I said taking the shampoo. Zion banged started banging on the door as if I was molesting him. I shook my head and dragged him back, bathing him. After bathing him, I took out a clean towel and went towards him, and started drying his fur. After drying him, I kneeled before him and kissed his forehead.

"Can you please shift back, Zion,"? I asked softly and he growled at me. I know he doesn't want to go, but he can't be here forever. The pack needs Alpha Xavier.

"Don't you want to talk to me," I pouted and tried to look sad. I know manipulation is bad, but he always fells for it. He wailed but started shifting. I yelped and cover my eyes. Argh! This wolf.

Feeling a soft kiss on the back of my palms, I slowly took them away from my eyes. I looked at Zion to see that he has shifted but from his golden eyes, he was still in control.

"Mate," he said lovingly and hugged me tightly.
