monkeys were climbing down to the low storey and it was not difficult to guess what was going to happen then because it was like this cycle for many days before. After finishing with the caterpillars they would come down to feed Kluay Khang (Alphonsea boniana), a fruit that I just had seen ripe for the first time this year, from peanut size to the cell phone size, their texture looked like banana but the taste was still not sweet, nor sour just mild as unripe banana.

Many monkeys sat feeding Kluay Khang happily, done with the next one, handled that one. Some monkeys were still in a hurry to grasp, to feed and then went to sit somewhere else. The small monkeys tried to feed too, got one ripe- edible, got unripe ones -edible but not good taste- throw it away

As I could see, no one could conquer the position from Spud.

For the lord of cheek pouch.

I hoped that at this moment Spud was still sitting and used his shoulder tamp some food from his big cheek pouch to feed, somewhere in this forest, not yet to join with Wendaa; the ex alpha male whose body was buried under the ground.
