even more, but she resisted—for now, anyway.

When she turned back to watch the strippers, Jack leaned down to whisper in her ear. “Tell me which ones you find most attractive.”

She cast a sideways grin. “Why?”

He returned it. “Because I dig it when girls like other girls. I can’t help wantin’ to know exactly which women do it for you.”

As Liz studied all the beautiful, sexy strippers shedding their clothes to reveal tantalizing curves, Jack pulled her even closer, snuggling his cock tighter into the valley of her ass. One arm wrapped full around her, beneath her breasts, pressing warm against the bottom of them. His other hand caressed her hip in slow circles that grew wider until each revolution brought his palm over one side of her ass then nearly around to her crotch. Lord, she wanted to wriggle against him—the little fissure of her asshole had never felt more sensitive.

But no—stretch it all out, she commanded herself. Experience everything.

“Well?” he said. “Which ones?”

Finally, after taking long, slow looks at each of the women performing for them, Liz made her selections. “Felicia,” she said, pointing to a stage where the stripper danced in only a white micro-mini skirt and towering strappy shoes, caressing her ample breasts, rosy nipples hard and pointing.

“And, I suppose, that girl.” The second pick had been difficult—most of the women in Club Venus were stunning—but Liz had chosen a petite blonde with slender hips and breasts that were smaller than Felicia’s but still round and pretty with pale pink crests. The red Spandex dress she’d once worn was now gathered around her waist as she moved sensually around a brass pole in matching red heels.

“Nice choices,” he purred in her ear, and she thought how strange it should feel to be telling a man which two women she was most attracted to, but with Jack, it was easy. He accepted this brazen side of her even more effortlessly than she did, and it made exploring this new facet of her sexuality all the more sweet.

Just as the current song came to an end, Jack eased himself out from behind her. “I’ll be back in a minute, darlin’.”

“Where are you going?” she asked, but he was already gone. She instantly missed his nearness, but figured he was headed to the bathroom or the bar. As a new set of girls took to the numerous stages sprinkling the room, Liz watched and enjoyed, but she really wanted Jack back. Somehow, watching the female entertainment wasn’t as arousing without him there behind her, watching with her.

A short moment later, he appeared back at her side, taking her hand. “C’mon. Allons.”

He wasn’t pulling her toward the door, but deeper into the club. “What’s going on?” she asked, following. “Where are we going?”

He stopped and looked back at her, a wholly sexual expression etched on his handsome face. “Mais, little Miss My Way, I decided I’m takin’ charge for a while.”

“What did you do?”

“I got you a surprise,” he said, leading her farther.

Up ahead, she noticed doors marked “Private Dances,” and at that very moment, Felicia and the blonde slipped inside one of them. Liz’s heart rose to her throat. Despite last night, she wasn’t sure about this, hadn’t planned on doing anything with anyone here but Jack. And yet…hadn’t the unknown beckoned to her when she’d entered Club Venus a little while ago? Hadn’t not knowing for sure what to expect made her all the more excited?

“What did you do?” she asked again when they stopped just outside the door.

He cast a wicked grin. “Just told ‘em what I thought you’d like.”

Liz’s stomach went hollow with a combination of excitement and fear. Even after last night, what lay inside seemed so forbidden.

“By the way,” Jack said in a low, sexy voice, “in here, you can touch ‘em back.”

Every nerve in her body seemed to prickle as she looked up at him. “I’m nervous.”

The tilt of his head seemed almost scolding. “You? I don’t believe it. I don’t think you have a nervous bone in your body.”

“I was beginning to think I didn’t, either. But everything else that’s happened has been so spontaneous, with no time to think. And this seems…so orchestrated.” Liz couldn’t be sure what she was afraid of. Was it because there were two women instead of one? Or because they were both so gorgeous—was she intimidated?

An expression of concern took over Jack’s handsome face. “I thought you’d be into this. But we don’t have to go in there if you don’t want to, chere.”

Suddenly, she felt like he’d picked out a gift for her and she didn’t like it. The fact was—she might love it, she just wasn’t sure yet. She braced her hands against his chest. “Tell me something. Will it excite you? Will it do as much for you as it probably will for me?”

He looked incredulous. “You have to ask?”

She nodded earnestly.

He ran his hands up her arms, stopping at her shoulders. “Baby, it’ll excite the holy hell out of me, probably more than anything ever has.” He stopped and took a deep breath, and it was clear the very idea was heating him up.

And that was all Liz needed to know. One look into those dark, passion-filled eyes and she was more than ready to discover the pleasures that waited behind the door. Knowing it was as much for his delight as hers took away all her fear, even turned her eager. In one sense, she knew Jack so little, yet in another, she trusted him, and she wanted to share pleasure with him so much that it felt like they’d been together for a very long time. “Then I want to do it.”

He used the crook of one finger to lift her chin. “Are you sure?”

She nodded and felt the fresh excitement rumbling in her chest. “Very.”

Twisting the doorknob, she walked into the room, which was small but even more plushly furnished than the rest of the club, with a rich burgundy
