Trailing my fingers down his chest and abs, I follow the bit of hair that leads to his cock. Yanking his pants and briefs down, I lower onto my knees and take hold of his base. Licking the pre-cum, I watch his head fall back against the wall and his eyes close in anticipation. Fingers slipping between my strands, he holds my head as I take him into my mouth and suck.
“Fuck, Selene, you feel so damn good.”
There’s my naughty professor. Hearing those words fuels my energy. Taking him deeper into my throat, I pleasure him until he’s groaning through an orgasm.
Caressing my cheek, his satisfied expression is filled with affection. I stand, and he pulls me to his chest.
“I’ve missed being alone with you.”
“Me too. I needed some Cyrus time.”
“I’m not going to leave you without pleasure.” He winks, then raises his palm in the air. With a mutter of a spell, my vibrator emerges in his hand.
A gasp of surprise leaves me, my eyes widening. “Where? How?”
“I saw it in your apartment.”
Laughing, I kiss him. “I love the way you think.”
Grinning, he motions to the countertop. “Clothes off, gorgeous. It’s my turn.”
Lifting me up, he smothers my lips with kisses as he sets the vibrator aside and undresses me. Clothes tossed to the floor, he kisses and licks my neck, shoulders, then breasts as he fingers my pussy lips. Spreading my legs wider, I give him better access, and he slides in, finds my G-spot, and applies repeated pressure.
Wrapping a hand around his neck, my head falls back as I enjoy the pleasure of his touch. With each thrust of his finger, he takes my pleasure higher. Just when I’m ready for more, he pushes me onto my back, kissing and licking between my legs, then rubs the tip of the vibrator on my opening. Moving it around, he teases my need and lubricates the vibrator. A moment later, he thrusts it in. Massaging my breast, he uses the other hand on the vibrator, watching me as he brings me to orgasm.
Lightheaded and satisfied, I sit up and receive soft lips in a sensual, heated kiss.
“You know how much I love you, don’t you?”
Forehead to forehead, I smile at his words.
“I do. It’s the same as how I feel. I love you with all of my heart.”
Cyrus hugs me, kissing me with sweet affection as we hold each other and linger in the love we feel.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
SELENE
With all of us in the living room, Cyrus hands Phoenix a ring, silver and black onyx with the shape of the air symbol on the top. Phoenix takes it, examines it, then slides it on his right middle finger.
“It’s similar to something I’d pick out. Thank you.”
The two exchange an acknowledging nod, which I’m coming to learn is Phoenix and Cyrus’s way of bonding. I can see Phoenix getting along with Cyrus the best. They’re both highly intelligent, quiet thinkers.
Cyrus removes a thick leather bracelet with a silver air symbol from his pocket and hands it to Killian. “I meant to make this for you sooner, but things got in the way.”
Killian smiles with approval, then puts it on. “It’s perfect, brother.”
Seeing the strength of their relationships grow melts my heart.
Sitting in the chair, my legs hanging over the side, I sip my cup of tea. “What would you guys like to do tonight?”
“We can go into the Fae forest,” Griffin suggests. “I’m sure there’s entertainment, and Emeric needs a sheath for his sword.”
“Sounds good to me. Have all of you been there before?”
Killian and Phoenix shake their heads no.
“You’ll like it. It’s beautiful, so many interesting Fae, good food, and handmade creations.” As I set the tea down and search for shoes, Phoenix clasps Griffin on the shoulder.
“Is it all right for me to hunt the forest here?”
“It is,” Griffin assures him. “But only animals. I assured the Fae you wouldn’t hunt them.”
“You have my word. I won’t hunt them.” His tone is sincere.
The corner of Griffin’s mouth pulls back. “Thank you.”
The six of us leave the house, following the sandy trail into the forest. They surround me like bodyguards as we walk deeper into the forest, the sky light dimming between the trees. Phoenix takes my hand, his vampire eyes revealing a glimmer of violet as he watches our surroundings. Emeric’s wing touches my other side, and I smile at him. Stroking a hand down my back, he reminds me of the beautiful wings now branded there.
“I’d like to join you the next time you fly.”
“Done, babe. I’ll be sure to take you.”
As I stroke his feathers, he winks above a pleasured grin.
On the trail leading into the market square, hanging lights add more illumination. Aisles of tents cover wood tables full of food, medicine, clothing, jewelry, and anything else the supernaturals living here might need. There’s a band on a raised platform, belting out lyrics alongside the musical melody of instruments.
The Fae walking around are as unique as all the items on the tables. Many of them watch us with cautious and curious expressions, while some point at us and mutter to one another. I assume they know who we are.
A tall, horned Fae man bumps into Phoenix as he passes and quickly apologizes several times. Phoenix puts up a hand to stop his nervous apologies.
“It’s all right. No worries.”
The Fae man smiles with relief, then carries on with his shopping.
Griffin pats Phoenix on the shoulder. “They’re a bit nervous about a vampire and wolf shifter being here. They need time to adjust and trust no harm will come to any of them.”
“I understand,” Phoenix says casually.
Killian makes eye contact with several Fae, smiling and nodding to them.
“They have nothing to fear,” he says to Griffin.
“They’ll know that in
