Slowly as to not hurt Enya, I gently work at one of the restraints holding her wrists in place. Both Beau and Marc work at her ankles. If I could’ve avoided it, I’d have made sure neither of them saw her body naked and exposed in a way only for my eyes.
With the last of the restraints removed, Enya falls forward into my arms.
I cradle her to me, and Enya moans and pants.
“Kenyon?” she calls my name huskily.
My cock twitches at the sound of her sex sounds, but now isn’t the time. I’ve gotta get her to the hospital and checked out.
“Hey, mo lómhara anamchara, I’ve got you now,” I rasp soothingly to her.
“Please make it stop. It hurts,” she cries through the moans. Her body arching, wanting, and she writhes in my grasp.
I look to Marc.
“Knock her out,” I mouth, hating myself for what I’m having my friend do. But I won’t take her like this. No fuckin’ way. She’s my world, and she’d hate me if I allowed this to happen.
Nodding, Marc does as I ask, grimacing at having to do something to Enya. A woman who’s never done anything but be polite to him and show him kindness. Enya slumps in my arms, and I know she’s out. Although, it doesn’t stop her moans of need.
“We need to get her to the hospital,” I mutter urgently.
“What about the shit taped to her?” Beau growls, mentioning the toys stuck to my woman. One of them, I know, is a bullet, the other a dildo that’s been put inside her.
“I don’t want to hurt or humiliate her any more than she already is,” I state, looking down at my beautiful woman to see her face, even knocked out, is filled with pain.
“I’ll call Connors and ask her if she’ll meet us at the clinic. It wouldn’t take us long to get there from here if we hit the interstate,” Marc announces.
I nod in agreement, stalk toward the stairs, and wish I had something to cover her body with. Once we get to the cars, I’ll put my shirt on her.
When we pull up, Connors meets us at the ER doors to the building with a gurney and two nurses. I place Enya on the bed only to have her whisked away. “I’ll give you an update soon as I can,” she mutters and rushes off behind Enya.
Sighing, I head for the waiting room. Mitch hands me a shirt as we go, and I throw it on over my naked chest.
Dean comes in and grimaces. “I suggest you call her father now.”
“Shit, he’s at my house with my mamma and seanathair,” I grumble, pulling my phone out of my pocket and dial my seanathair’s phone number.
“You are out very late, Kenyon. I expected to find you home to spend time with your mamma and me. Also, Doran is wanting to meet his daughter,” Seanathair says when he answers.
“Seanathair, I need you to bring him to the hospital,” I announce, giving him the directions to where to go. I’ll explain the rest of it once I have both of them here.
“We’ll be there soon,” he says without asking questions and hangs up.
Nodding to no one, I pull the phone from my ear and put it in my pocket. Taking a seat near the window, I lean forward, brace my elbows on my knees, and hunch over with my head in my hands.
My thoughts are all over the place while waiting for Connors to let me know how Enya’s doing.
“Kit-Kat put Ensley in a holding cell for the time being until we figure out what to do with her,” Dean announces, taking a seat next to me. “Enya will be okay.”
Nodding, I don’t respond.
I continue to stay silent, waiting for news.
Time passes and the doors to the back don’t open, but the ones to the entrance do. My seanathair and Doran O’Farrell come into the waiting room with my mamma barging past them to get to me.
“Kenyon,” she says, her voice filled with panic as she takes me in. Her expression one of worry and fear as she takes in the blood dried on my hands. “Are you okay?”
“It’s not mine, Mamma,” I croak. I clear my throat and stand from my seat to meet my seanathair’s and Doran’s gazes. Mamma wraps her arm around my waist and holds me tight. “It’s Enya’s.”
Doran stiffens as my mamma gasps.
“What happened?” he demands.
Shaking my head, I tell them what I know and explain to him how she has a twin sister who conspired in all that happened tonight. Funny how so much can happen in such a short amount of time.
“So I have one daughter who attempted to hurt her sister,” he sneers. A sharp deathly fleeting look comes over his face.
“We’ve placed her into a holding cell until we figure out what to do with her,” Dean announces, stepping forward to greet Doran and my seanathair.
“I’d have her killed if she didn’t have my blood,” Doran snaps.
“Enya wouldn’t want that. No matter how much she’s been through. She is far too compassionate and would ask to get her twin help,” I grumble.
“And for her, as she sounds to be a daughter I’d be proud of, I’ll make the decision after I meet her, but I’ll be the judge of what happens with her sister. I may have been deprived of her life for years on end, believing their mother lost them before they were born. Now I will not be any longer. Neither will their brothers, Cillian and Críostóir,” Doran declares.
“Then you should know now, though you are just now entering her life, that I intend to be with her,” I state firmly.
“Guess it’s good that we never changed the contract,” Seanathair says, lightening the mood.
