kitchen, soaking wet and shirtless. Mind you, that wasn’t a bad look either, if I’m being honest.” Here I am trying to keep myself under control, and straight out of the gate, she’s flirting.

Remember the mantra. Don’t fuck her. Don’t fuck her!

“Which part, the wet or the shirtless?” I ask, and she tilts her head sideways at me. “What, you started it. It was just a question.”

“Which I don’t think I should answer. Let’s move on. How was your day at work?” Asha leans into the bag and starts pulling the food out and opening it up so we can get started. “Mmm, this smells amazing.”

For the entire length of dinner, we remained on light conversation. Mainly about me and growing up here, my sister and parents. In fact, she has done well at getting me talking about myself while saying very little about herself. I still don’t know much about her. I’ve got a feeling she doesn’t often share and is hiding a lot. I can live with that for the moment. Everyone has their reasons for their privacy, and hopefully the more we get to know each other, the more she will open up to me.

Sitting on the couch, each of us with a beer, we take in the view of the lights from the houses and moonlight on the ocean.

“Wow, I thought I had a good view from my place, but it’s even better from here,” I say.

Asha jumps up and rushes over to the light switch, plunging us into darkness. “It’s even more beautiful in the dark. Sometimes I just sit here with a lone candle lit and watch the world pass me by. It’s lonely, but at the same time, has its own kind of calmness about it.”

“Yeah, I get that. I sit in the dark on the balcony off my bedroom at night and just look and listen. There is noise, but it’s like the sounds of silence that feel totally different in black stillness. To me, it’s home.”

I feel her sinking farther into the couch and making herself comfortable. “To me, I wish it was home.” There is a tinge of sadness in her voice, but I don’t want to push it. I just let it hang there for a moment, so she can choose if she wants to say any more.

Instead, she changes the subject. “I’m surprised you haven’t bugged me for more information on the book yet. Or have you given up already?” Her sweet voice just doesn’t match with the words I’ve been reading.

Clearing my throat a little, I say, “Let’s not talk about the book tonight. No questions from me, not that I’m allowed to ask, anyway.” Thank god it’s dark because I’m sure my cheeks are burning a little.

“Oh no, you’ve read more since this morning, haven’t you. Shit, you’ve read chapter eight. Umm, yeah, okay…”

“Why are you embarrassed, Asha?”

“Because you probably think I’m some crazy sex fanatic who is living out her fantasies,” she says, trying to get up from beside me, and I stand up next to her.

I take the beer from her hand and put it on the table, placing my hand on her neck. Her pulse beats frantically under my skin.

“You want to know what I was thinking while reading your words? The way it makes me feel?”

I can see her in the faint light that’s coming from the hallway in the house. Asha slowly nods her head up and down.

“Your words make the promise I’m trying to keep impossible,” I whisper as I lean forward.

I feel her awkwardly swallowing. “What promise?” she whispers.

“That I wouldn’t fuck you again.” Her little gasp draws me closer to her ear.

“My book made you want to fuck me?” Her breathy voice just about pushes me over the edge.

“No, Asha. It’s the memory of fucking you. The one that’s with me every minute of every day since the moment I walked away last time. That’s what makes me want to kiss you right now, like this…” I give her the slightest moment to object before I kiss her lightly just under her ear.

Her whole body shudders.

As I continue down her neck, she moans as she lets her head drop to the side, giving me all the bare skin to keep devouring.

“Then are you going to fuck me…?” Her hesitation from sheer sexual anticipation drives me crazy.

“Is that what you want, Asha? You want me to fuck you, even though you told me we could only be friends?” My other hand is now running up and down her side and letting my thumb stroke the side of her breast.

“Friends fuck… mmm,” she stammers while I nibble on her ear.

“Then I want to be the only friend who fucks you… understood?”

“Yes, god, yes. No friend fucking.”

My cock is as hard as ever, and there is no way I can back away again. She has a powerful sexual energy that just draws me to her, and one I can’t seem to walk away from.

My hand now slides around the back of her neck and pulls her to me. “Why can’t I say no to you, Asha?” Her eyes tell me the answer. Because there is something inside both of us, bigger than anything we can hope to control.

Slamming my mouth down on her lips, she matches me with the same lust, her hands already running all over my body and dragging my shirt up my back.

I pull back for a second to give her one last chance to change her mind. “Asha, are you sure?”

“Do you want me?” she asks, stilling her hands and looking at me with plenty of fire.

Pushing my cock against her tells her everything she needs to know.

“Then fuck me like you did last time, but not because I’m asking you to or because I’m scared. Fuck me because you want to! That you can’t bear not to be inside me right this minute.”

That’s it. This woman’s words are going to have me coming before I’m even
