He would not let his emotions take control. He would not let his emotions influence him. They were not necessary to survival, and that is what he was going to do.

Survive.

He needed to be there to take care of Adrian. He needed to rid the world of evil. He needed to do what he was created to do and nothing more.

Even though he Fell, Thane would not shirk his duty.

The pleasure rocketing through his body mocked him. It pointed out his flaw.

No matter how unemotional he would like to be, he could never stop the feelings from happening. He could control his desire, but it was still there, would always influence him. If he abstained for too long it would constantly eat at his mind.

Sex released him from that, it pushed back the other emotions for a while and helped him stay sane.

BDSM helped him learn to control himself, learn to control the act of sex so that it didn’t overpower him. Strong emotions might release the tidal wave of feelings that he was holding back.

He needed to suppress them.

Even though he wanted to escape, to retreat into the safety of being alone, he couldn’t. Aftercare was essential.

He wanted to growl as he pulled out of her, however he repressed the noise.

He looked to Adrian to see him staring down at her with a ravenous look on his face. The man had to know that they could not take her again so soon.

She didn’t fully trust them. She had protested at being chained at first. They had to show her that it was alright.

Finally, his friend made eye contact and nodded.

Adrian knew that it was essential to care for their sub. He had rebelled at first, preferring play to care, but soon he learned to do his duty.

Thane made sure of that.

“Alright, hot-stuff. Let’s get you cleaned up.” Adrian said, his voice light and teasing. Thane knew that he could be charming if he wanted to be.

They had used that skill to their advantage in the past. He found them their sexual partners and lured Demons into traps.

Thanatos ignored her sigh and started to unchain her. Her body must be stiff, uncomfortable now that her needs were fulfilled. She needed to be relaxed, brought back down from sub-space and shown respect.

After she was released, he picked her up, her body limp, her eyes closed. He knew that she wasn’t sleeping. Her heart was beating too fast, her eyes moving behind her lids.

She needed to be washed, massaged, what the Dungeon Master at Exposure called pampering.

He carried her into the bathroom where Adrian was waiting, the bath filling. He was glad that they put in a separate tub. He never thought of the use for it before, but now he realized that Adrian had foreseen this.

The younger man had taken a lot of effort to design the cave to his exact specifications. Thane had not cared at the time, however Adrian had said that if he had to live in one place, then it was going to be the most comfortable and interesting place he could make.

“I think she’d taste good with citrus bath salts, don’t you Death?” Adrian asked, sprinkling some small crystals into the water.

Thane just grunted in response. He didn’t mind what scent she had, he would always be able to smell the spicy hint of arousal.

Sophia didn’t even move, although her breathing had evened out a little. It wouldn’t surprise him if she wasn’t even aware of what was happening.

Once Adrian got into the bath, Thane handed his bundle to the other man and watched as Sophia snuggled into the smaller man’s embrace.

It was comforting—no, that was an emotion!—to note that she liked them both. He liked to know that Adrian would take care of her if he was unable. It was good to know that you had a partner to watch over the things that are important.

It was often crucial in battle, and everything that was appropriate for battle was appropriate for life.

“I like all these curves pressed against me. I’m almost sorry that we have to wash you up.” Adrian said, his mouth close to the woman’s ear. He could see her shivered response.

Thane would have helped, but there wasn’t enough room in the bathtub. Instead, he sat on the side of the tub and watched as Adrian put soap on a cloth and ran it along her body. He started with her shoulders, and moved to her arms. Sophia was pliant, her eyes closed and her body loose.

Next the cloth skimmed over her breasts, paying special attention to her hardening nipples. The sensation must have been enough to wake her, because Sophie’s eyes shot open.

Instead of protesting, she arched her back into Adrian’s touch and flicked her eyes to Thane.

He held eye contact with her as he reached over and swept the hair from her face. He didn’t bother to analyze the reason. He didn’t know why he had the overwhelming urge to touch her. He didn’t want to know why he liked being near her so much. That would involve feelings, he was sure. He would not let emotions into his mind.

“Oh, is our sexy girl awake? Is she interested in a little bathtub sex?”

Adrian never understood aftercare.

It wasn’t supposed to lead into more sex. It was supposed to bring her mind out of the sexual scene and back into reality. They were supposed to show her that she would be looked after and treasured even when sex wasn’t involved.

Thane smacked Adrian’s shoulder in warning.

He needed to treat Sophia correctly. She deserved to be taken care of after what she gave them.

“Alright, no tub sex. This is not about that and blah blah blah.” Thane hoped that Sophia was still too out of it
