She tried to deescalate the situation as much as possible, as she witnessed rainbow, polychromatic, shiny designated color formations that barely any human had seen yet she was witnessing colors upon colors that were indescribable to the naked eye. Even the grass beneath her feet had a unique hue of green with shine to it, as the tips of the light green to the root of it being dark green, was so easy for her to differentiate rather than simply say its green. It was not just showing hues of green; it was having a particular shine due to a 4th mysterious primary color that got added to her eye’s color cone cells. She was very astonished to witness the shine of the rainbow spectrum being hidden within the blue sky, which is how the Earth itself had obtained the color sea blue due to the sun’s color spectrum reacting with the Earth but this time she could witness the entire spectrum even within the sky itself.
Her hands had been filled with a void of sparkling sonar light, as she raised her hand, it suddenly sent a blast towards the goal post of the soccer field. The blast was polychromatic rainbow and was shaped like a comet as it struck through the edge of the goal post, through the steel material of the post, slicing its welds connecting it with the rest of the poles in the top right corner. The blast itself caused the welds within the post to fail in shear as the post got sliced and was detached from its longitudinal and transverse welded positions, which made the goal post lose its support and collapse all together.
Emptiness beneath her sandals began to get more and more present as her body began to elevate, as she was looked down on the ground. She witnessed in shock as her sandals began to fall off her feet, as she got higher and higher off the ground aerodynamically. The ground beneath was starting to get smaller and smaller as her bare feet was feeling the emptiness of the air above which started to give her a very uneasy feeling, since she was floating a few meters high in the sky, while ascending higher and higher. She flapped her arms and legs around, trying to get back to the ground as she was screaming in terror, since she was afraid of heights and could not bare another second to look down as the soccer field got smaller and smaller, as the clouds began to approach closer and closer.
She was not just floating, she was in flight, she was a bird in the sky, she was flying.
Chapter 3
Reach for the Sky!
Date: September 10th, 2020
Sandra Richards began to get control of her levitation as she was still struggling to get back onto the ground, telling herself to calm down that there is always a solution to any problem in the world. Her father’s quote came into her mind saying, “Wherever there is a problem that exists. It cannot exist without a solution. Otherwise, it cannot be considered a problem, none whatsoever.” Her father’s quote was helping her mood to be tranquil, to potentially find a way to get back down to the ground level. That was one of the last things that her father ever said to her before he simply disappeared back when she was a child in elementary school. She always told herself that he was alive out there somewhere in the world, still breathing.
The calming thoughts began to process through her mind, which suddenly made her stop at the same altitude, she was not floating upwards or downwards as she looked around. The clouds were mainly stratus, stratocumulus, and altocumulus type, which meant that she was more than a few hundred meters above the ground. This gave her a very scary sensation. Her body began to go through many flips, turns and somersaults in the air. She could not control the levitation at all. As she was panicking and terrified, this made the gravity sensation around her entire body begin to reappear again. This was an indication that she released her flotation ability.
After a couple of seconds of feeling the attraction of gravity, she started to fall towards the ground uncontrollably. She screamed for her life, with wind penetrating her vocal cords and her hair was blowing everywhere. The wind was penetrating her, and it had a chilly sensation, since she was only wearing a pair of jeans with an unzipped black hoodie and a regular white t-shirt. Her body was like a ragdoll as she began to rotate 360 degrees repeatedly as she was getting closer and closer to the ground. Her altitude began to decrease at the acceleration of 9.81 m/s^2 due to gravity pulling her down. She wondered why her flotation was suddenly gone.
She had a feeling she was going to die, as she tried to calculate how many seconds it would take for her to splat on the ground and die. She attempted to use physics as a tool to differentiate or integrate to help calculate the number of seconds she had
