“That’s what you did the last two times! Let her go!” She lifted her hands, and the bottles on the shelves began to wobble as she was conjuring a thunderbolt. “I will bring your whole house down if I have to!” Sorgin whipped her hand up and sent Robin flying into the wall and held her there. “Little Witch. Little Agatha. You are not strong enough to stand up to me! You cannot defeat me!” Sorgin cackled.
Thea, meanwhile, started to regain feeling in her feet. Could the potion really be wearing off already? She started to wiggle her toes to get the blood flowing. Soon she was able to move her pinky finger.
“We had a blood oath Sorgin! BLOOD!” Agatha let out a scream.
Thea took a chance and clumsily got to her feet. She was able to launch a fireball straight at Sorgin’s head. Sorgin dropped Agatha in an attempt to block the blast. Agatha crashed down onto a bookshelf; some of the bottles containing the fairies crashed on the floor, however, did not shatter.
The flame took over the entire body of the old witch, but she did not seem to be in pain. She bent over like she was sobbing and then the sobbing turned to mystical laughter. When Sorgin opened her eyes they were no longer icy blue, but were as yellow as a dandelion with slits for pupils. Purple smoke started to billow out of her nose, and she started to fill the room with her size. She sprouted wings and her withered skin turned to scales in hues of blue and green. She threw her cane off to the side, bending forward as she grew; now standing on all fours. Her nose changed into a rounded snout and she had a long lizard like tongue, which was split on the end. Sorgin’s laugh turned to a deep echo that came from her belly. Her cane started to move on its own from where it landed. It slithered like a snake, making its way to Sorgin’s now ample arm; the cane fused to her skin. All that could be seen was the glowing skull imbedded into her scales. She took a breath, sucking in all of the fire which had been engulfing her, into her mouth, then blew it out in full force at Thea and Agatha. A window on the wall shattered as the girls dove out of the way. A demonic growl came from the throat of the dragon, before she grabbed the two girls in her claws, pushing them through the broken glass; throwing the girls onto the lawn below. Fig rushed to the gaping hole that was left in the wall and watched in terror as the dragon swooped out after them. Sorgin hovered over the girls, before gracefully glided to the yard.
The girls had fallen hard, but were able to get up, and hobbled off to the forest for coverage. “What do we do?” Agatha asked Thea.
“DO?! WE?! You just tried to give me to a dragon as a payment! THERE IS NO TEAM HERE!” Thea hissed as she started to conjure some mud trolls to assist with the attack.
“Thea, listen, Robin is your friend, and my sister! Sorgin is a collector and has my sister locked somewhere in the chateau! I’m sorry I tricked you, but I didn’t know what else to do to get her out of there.” Agatha started to sob as she hid behind a bush.
Thea rolled her eyes and pushed her arms out at her sides. “That’s a great sign of integrity; trick the girl who lost her memory. Just stay the hell away from me!” Thea snapped at the crying girl.
The ground began to rumble, harder than it ever had when Thea was using magic. Sorgin had launched a stream of fire over the tops of the trees, igniting the forest in a glorious blaze. Thea stood her ground and conjured up a single mud troll that was as large as Sorgin in her dragon form. He stoically walked towards Sorgin and swung at her with his mighty fist.
“Hey! You stay here and make your mud trolls to take her out at the legs. Do you think you can handle that?” Thea yelled over her shoulder at Agatha. She didn’t wait for an answer as she made her way behind the dragon, past the chateau, to the other side of the waterfront that was lined with trees. Thea already knew that her fireballs did not hurt the mighty dragon, but perhaps some water would. She raised a wall of water and sent it flying down upon the dragon.
Sorgin the dragon roared as her stream of fire was extinguished. The giant mud troll continued to march towards her, pounding her long neck regardless of how many times he was knocked down. Agatha had sent an army of mini mud trolls who were attacking Sorgin’s feet, and surrounding her legs so that she couldn’t move. She let out another stream of fire, burning the trees in the yard. Hit after hit, Sorgin did not show any signs of weakening. She continued to laugh a demonic laugh between her attacks on the girls.
Thea, however, was starting to feel the fatigue of the battle and wasn’t sure how much more she could take. She started to look for an escape route, but was stuck by a wall of fire that circled behind her. Sorgin swung her ample neck, knocking the giant mud troll over for the final time – splattering him into large clumps of mud that were shooting as projectiles throughout the yard.
Sorgin took a strong sniff into the air, then swung her head towards where Thea was hiding.
“Come out, come out where ever you are,” Sorgin hissed, as she
