He walked all the way to the other side of Jerusalem, which wasn’t as big as it is now, but was still a decent size. He got on his horse, which reminded me of Noemi’s horse and started to gallop off. I regretted at that time, getting rid of my horse. I wasn’t apposed to taking on though, so my regret was quickly replaced with gratitude for whoever left their horse unattended.
By the time I got a horse and got back to where I saw the rider at last, he, once again, was out of sight. I managed to catch a trail of dust off in the distance and with the sun glaring, it made it hard to see even for me. I never got close enough to see if it was actually the rider. I went with my gut feeling and rode on.
It was getting dark and I was losing sight of the rider. I was mad I didn’t have the magical eyes that my brothers possessed, but I could see light across the horizon and I knew it wasn’t the sun. It was just as bright as when the sun first starts to peak. I headed towards it, I only had my gut to go on and it was telling whoever was in front of me, was heading to towards that light as well.
As the lights grew brighter, I slowed my horse down to a near walk. When I got even closer, I got of my horse and told it to stay, not that it was going to listen, not being tied off. I walked closer to source and found it to be from torches from over a hundred different, brown tents. I was able to navigate around them, keeping to the shadows the best I could. I heard talking so I followed the voices. Three men came to my view. One was the rider who was talking to another man who wore a lot of garments of different colors of oranges, reds and beiges. The third man wore an armor of types, bronze with the pectoral’s and abs chiseled into it, with a short sword at his side.
“Have you more information for us?” the one wearing the armor asked.
“They are having a supper tonight for him,” the rider said.
“I say we go now and be there by morning,” the one in armor said.
“I am the high priest and in with the Sanhedrin and these are my men, we will wait. If there is a supper for him, there will be gather of people.”
“My friend says he will be in the Garden of Gethsemane two days from now Caiaphas,” the rider said the one who was all dressed up.
“Is your friend sure?” Caiaphas asked.
“Has he not given you all this information that has brought you here?”
“I want to meet your friend tomorrow; I will be at my place”
“I will tell him, can I rest here tonight, and I head out in the morning?”
“Of course.”
“I will send word to Pontius, he will be pleased and if the information your friend has is true, we can move on him them.”
I had to hurry, I had to warn Jesus myself. I used my abilities, once again leaving my horse behind` and raced back to Jerusalem, to Mount Zion. They had just started bringing up food the Cenacle as I heard people calling it, some called it the Upper Room, same thing, different language. I looked around and watched as people were carrying food and standing in line. They were lined outside of this massive place, not as massive as today as it was destroyed and rebuilt many times.
I went to the end of the line and unfortunately used my abilities to quickly remove and over power the last person in line. I was able to snap their neck with ease, if I would have just appeared in front of Jesus, I would have drawn more attention to myself and no one would listen.
The person that I killed dropped a loaf of bread, so I picked it up and dusted it off. I impatiently waited in line, which moved rather quickly. I could smell meats in front of me and part of me wanted to taste them as I had not tasted the fare in Jerusalem.
There was a massive set of stairs that led up to a court room, with two buildings on each side of the main building, which was four stories tall, with people not seeming to mind at all the line. After a few hours, I was finally through the door of the main building. There were four flights of stairs all lined with people, all carrying food. It took me a long time to finally get to the Upper Room.
As I’ve mentioned, over time this place had been destroyed and rebuilt many of time. The Upper Room was massive. Eight pillars lined the room, four on the left side and four on the right side. The table Jesus sat at was in the middle, loaded with food and food was set off to the side as well. People were lined up on left side, they would drop of their food and circle around on the right side, the room was filling up fast.
As I approached the table, I could see Judas sitting next to Jesus. I watched as Judas slowly moved his foot towards Jesus’s foot. Jesus didn’t mind at first, then Judas ran his foot up Jesus’s leg and Jesus moved his foot quickly away and gave Judas a slight kick to the shin. He leaned over and I could see anger his face. He whispered something to Judas. Judas looked hurt, he got up and switched spots with another disciple at the end of the table.
