He put his had up and spoke in a different language, the growling stopped, and the reflective eyes went away. Then appeared from one of the tunnels, a woman. She was about five-feet and three-inches tall, she had short, just about the shoulder length, black hair and wide brown eyes. Her skin was a light brown and she was wearing nothing, when she appeared. She looked at Mylicious and the two talked, as usual I listened for a few minutes and then I could understand them.
“Why is he so white? Is he a wolf like you?” she asked and before Mylicious could speak, I spoke for me.
“I’ve always been this way,” I said in her language, she stared at me in amazement. The language, which is lost now to today’s world, was a form of Inuit. There was though, certain sounds they would make with their tongues, a click or a cluck here and there, that took me awhile to understand, “And no, I am not wolf like he, I am different a lot different.”
“How do you know our language?” she asked.
“I don’t know, the more you talk, the more I learn, I’ve always been able to do it,” I said.
“I wish I could do that,” Mylicious said.
“I guess there are certain things I can do, that you can’t and things you can do that I can’t,” I said.
“Are you demon?” she asked.
“Mila that’s enough, he’s no more demon than I am, I’ve told you where we are from,” Mylicious said.
“It’s quite alright brother, I’m use to the questions,” I said and smiled.
It was then I noticed her eye-balling something behind me, then she spoke, “You know how to shoot?”
“I do, I’m a great shot,” I boasted a little.
“He might come in handy,” she said, then turned and walked away, her backside fading in the darkness of the tunnel.
“You’ll have to excuse her brother, she’s weary of my relatives, ever since Derium tried to feed from her brother.”
“He sure does now how to ruin things.”
“It appears so,” Mylicious said and looked down.
“Father!” I heard coming from the tunnel that Mila walked down. Out of the tunnel, two kids, about ten-years-old, came running out. They looked identical in the face, but one was a boy and one was girl. They were fully clothed, thankfully, then Mila re-appeared with dress, made of hide. The left side of the dress was higher than the right, cut slightly above the knee and angled down to her right ankle. The tip, of the end of dress was dyed blue. She smiled softly at me and I nodded back.
The two children ran up Mylicious and they all embraced. He turned them to me and spoke, “Amka, Amaruq, this is my brother, Roldian.”
They looked up at me and then got closer to Mylicious, I stepped forward and put my arms out. They started crying, wretched creatures. I put my arms down and stepped back, they sniffled and wiped their eyes, brats.
I then heard howling, It was radiating from the hole in the center of the ceiling, “The rest of my pack is here, there’s Kallik, Tarkik the other two men in my pack. Then we have Tapeesa and Yura the other two females in the pack,” Mylicious said with a smile on his face, he was proud.
I heard the massive footsteps coming down the steps and then a group of four, massive wolves came through the doorway. One was black, with a white patch on its chest and yellow eyes, the second one was a dark brown, all around with blue eyes, the third one was a lighter brown and had red eyes, then the last one, the last one I really liked. It was grey and had purple eyes, it caught my attention the minute it walked through the doorway.
“We have guest, go and change, then come back dressed please,” Mylicious said.
The black wolf walked by me and snarled a little bit, but I paid no attention to him, I was too busy looking at the grey wolf, who looked back at me before it went into one of the tunnels with the rest of the wolves. Minutes later they all came back, dressed.
“Introduce yourselves,” Mylicious said.
“Is it even going to understand us?” one of the males asked rudely.
“I’ll understand more than you ever will, and I’m not an “It”,” I said hastily, only to receive a look of surprise from them and laughter from Mylicious.
“This my brother Roldian, I’ve mentioned him before.”
“Plenty of times actually,” the rude male said.
“Mind your tongue, Kallik before I rip it out and make you choke on it,” Mylicious said, it was first, hateful thing I’ve heard him say.
“I’m sorry, it was a rough hunt.” Kallik said.
“We have plenty of food, so don’t worry,” Mylicious said.
Kallik put his head down and nodded, “Would the rest of you like to introduce yourselves?” Mylicious asked.
“I’m Tarkik,” the other male said, like the other male, he was well built, not as well as I, but close. His hair was jet black and long, down his back and braided. Kallik’s hair was shorter than Tarkik’s and simply put in a pony tail.
I nodded, as the first female introduced herself, she was petite, but had a firm grip, “I’m Tapeesa,” she said as she took my hand. She too had long hair, that
