Davis squeezes my neck and then responds. “I offered to switch my membership to another club, but…”
Hudson interrupts. “The truth is that I encouraged Cindy to out herself to you. I thought it would be awkward going forward for Davis to keep this secret from you. You two are in a committed relationship. The fact that he knew we belong to Surrender and you didn’t know seemed unfair.”
“He’s right,” Cindy agrees. She’s shaking a bit.
“I’m sorry you were put in such a difficult position,” I finally respond. I can see this is stressful for her.
She smiles. “Don’t be sorry. I just have trust issues, so I’m very careful.”
“I would never tell a soul,” I inform her.
“I know you won’t. And it’s better this way. I’d rather the four of us be able to do things together without an elephant in the room. It wouldn’t be fair to you for me to maintain my secrecy.”
“Are you…” I don’t finish that question. It’s not my business what kind of kink she’s into. She’s obviously very distressed admitting she’s even a member of the club. She’s entitled to keep the rest private.
“I’m a little, if that’s what you’re wondering.”
I hold her gaze. “Oh.” I glance at Davis as I realize they all know I am too.
“I’m sorry it took me so long to talk to you. I was…” She’s really shaking.
Hudson moves closer, tips her head toward him, and meets her gaze. “Take a breath, baby girl.”
She draws in a deep breath, holding his gaze. “I’m okay.”
He leans in and kisses her lips gently.
She turns back to me. “It wasn’t fair of me. Davis didn’t tell us, but I knew you had to be little simply because I know him. It wasn’t fair that it took me this long to share about myself. I hope you can forgive me.”
“Of course.” I’m shocked. “Of course,” I repeat. I can see this is hard for her. No wonder she hasn’t told me yet. “Please don’t worry about it. You’ve told me now, and you don’t owe me anything further. I’ll respect your privacy.”
Davis’s hand is on my back, and I realize I’m shaking as badly as Cindy.
She forces a smile. “I don’t, uh, play, outside of my home. Sometimes we have other Daddies and littles over, but I’m not out at Surrender. When we go there, I submit as an adult.”
I nod. “Okay.”
“I just, uh, wanted to… I mean, I had to tell you before you go to the club. We aren’t going tonight, but everyone at Surrender knows me. I worked at the front desk for seven years.”
My eyes widen. Wow. Okay.
“I didn’t start submitting to anyone until I met Master Hudson last year, but I was familiar with every aspect of BDSM.”
I nod again. Her stress is palpable. This is a big deal for her. I hope she will be okay. “Thank you for sharing. I’m humbled.”
She nods and then pastes on a better smile and sits up straighter. “Well, enough seriousness. You two go. Have fun. Enjoy the club. I’ll see you Monday morning.”
We all stand. It’s awkward though.
When Cindy comes around the desk, I instinctively reach out and hug her. Luckily, she hugs me back and then meets my gaze. “I’ll be fine. I feel better already. A weight lifted. Please don’t worry about me. Now you know. It’s not something we’ll discuss at work or anything. It’s just a side of both of us.”
“Of course.” I hug her again and then let Davis lead me from the room.
We don’t speak until after he has buckled me into his SUV and then climbed into the driver’s seat. He turns to me. “I’m proud of you, sweet girl.”
“I had no idea.” I’m still shocked.
“I know, and I hated keeping it from you, but it wasn’t my secret to tell.”
I nod. “I understand.”
He reaches for my hand and squeezes it. “Now, shake it off. We’re going to go home, change, have some dinner, and head for the club.”
I bite my lip. I’m both excited and nervous. “You’re sure there will be other littles there?”
“Positive. Lucy will be there and two of her closest friends, Sabine and Josie. They will help you acclimate. If you’re not comfortable, we won’t stay. But I want you to give it a chance. I think you’re going to love it. It’s freeing when you walk into a place where everyone can be themselves without any fear of judgment.”
I take a deep breath. I’m excited. I’ve got this. “I’m ready, Daddy.”
“Good girl.” He leans over and kisses me. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” I close my eyes and force myself to relax as he drives back to the house. My entire life has changed so drastically in the last few months. I no longer have to worry about whether or not I will have enough money for food and rent. The only person I strip for is Davis.
My life is so full and so rich. I never dreamed I would ever be this happy. I worried at first that I might not want to continue to live as Davis’s little forever, but I was wrong. It’s the most amazing feeling in the world.
When I go to work, I put on my adult façade and spend the day helping match people with pets. When I’m at home, I never worry about a thing. I turn myself over to Daddy. He takes care of everything. It’s freeing. It’s liberating. It fills a hole I didn’t know I had.
My birthday is coming up soon, and I think he’s going to let me get a puppy. He’s hinted about it several times. I’ve tried not to get too excited because I don’t want to be disappointed, but I can’t wait. If not for my birthday, I know he’ll let me choose a pet soon.
I love being his little girl. I can’t imagine ever wanting that to change. I’m thinking about taking some classes at the local community college
