Veronica stammered and placed both her hands on her hair, as she was about to rip it off. “We gotta get back home!”

“Never thought I would ever see the day,” Roxanne spoke in an astonishing tone. “To be in space, away from Earth, away from home simply.”

“Well, I will be damned,” Aiden said as he looked at the Earth through the Bayview windows. “Where the hell is Walker? He better know how to fly this hunk of junk!”

“Right here,” Jack ran to them along with Sandra as they reunited in the Hangar.

“GET US THE HELL OUT OF HERE!” Aiden screamed at Jack as he approached him.

“No! Not heading back to Earth, until my friend Jay is saved!” Jack argued. “I leave no friends behind ever! I did not leave you behind when the Freighter was about to explode, I did not leave you behind after I destroyed the Tri-Needle Obelisk! And I saved Tracy right here from falling to her death! For once Aiden, cut me some slack!”

“He makes a good point,” Roxanne spoke aloud. “He deserves some credit.”

“Alright,” Aiden apologized. “Sorry, but what’s the plan?”

“Sandra, you sure you are up for this?” Jack spoke to her as they headed towards the airlock units.

“Up for what?” Veronica demanded. “What’s going on?”

“I gotta go fly in space,” Sandra replied. “To save Jay.”

“WHAT?” Aiden, Tracy, Veronica and Roxanne reacted loudly.

“Not happening,” Aiden stepped in front of Jack, trying to stop him from opening the airlock unit.

“I did not force her into this,” Jack said. “She volunteered; she can breathe in space for your information.”

“You can fly and breathe in space?” the four exclaimed loudly.

“Enough of the shock,” Sandra said in disappointment. “Come on, unlock the airlock.”

Jack pressed a few buttons to unlock the airlock where an escape pod was formerly, but there was another layer of shut doors, which he did not open yet, since the vacuum of space could harm them. He gave Sandra an earpiece for communications, “Take this, we need to communicate, if you want to back out, you still can.”

“Its fine,” Sandra held onto Jack’s hand as she hooked up the earpiece into her right ear.

“Why can’t you go after Jay yourself Walker?” Aiden spoke aloud.

“I’m the only one who can pilot this thing you nimrod,” Jack said aloud. “I’m your only ticket out of here, so is Jay. But I’m needed here in case of an attack on the Traveler.”

“Where are Luis and Allison?” Tracy asked.

“Back at the Command Centre,” Jack responded, as the blast-door shut off between him and Sandra. “You ready Sandra?”

“Yes.” She replied simply.

Jack unlocked the space airlock doors, by entering an override code. As it opened, Sandra flew out in space. Sandra was wearing her Kaleidoscopic glasses with the reflection of the Obelisk I on her lenses. She flew towards the Obelisk I. She was flying through space again and began to enjoy the silence of the cosmic environment around her like before.

Chapter 14

Obelisk I

Date: June 26th, 2021 – Past 10:00 AM on Earth – 5 minutes in Space (Exosphere or beyond)

NOTE: 1 Day in Space Spent = 30 Days on Earth Passed By (AE In-Universe rule) for convenience, only applies if the setting is within Exosphere atmosphere or beyond.

Jay’s escape pod approached the entrance of the Obelisk I tower. He exited, sprinting into the Command Centre of the tower itself. Timemaster was nowhere in site, he must have gone someplace else within the Obelisk I. The Obelisk was filled with silver lining panels all around gleaming, with narrow corridors, due to its sleek Obelisk like design, which was erected remarkably high in terms of ceiling height, about half a kilometer high. As Jay was approaching the command console to find out what was going on or where to find out what this Obelisk I was providing, that made Timemaster come all the way here. Jay was not aware that it had a time machine in it, since during the Invasion back in 2999, only Jack found out about this vital information while Jay did not.

BLEEP! TAP! TOUCH! PRESS!

Jay’s fingertips coordinated with the computer console within the Obelisk I. He looked through the database, which was going extremely fast in numeration, as it started to show profiles after profiles in it. The profiles appeared in alphabetical order displaying the following names simply: Yukama Kimon, Windy Lemer, Silver Ny, Timemaster AKA Time Bot Experiment #7, and another profile which displayed as “??????”.

“What the-,” As Jay attempted to select the ‘??????’ profile but a prompt message spoke out loud saying ‘Access Denied’. “Who the hell could this be? Alright, let us find out who you really are, Ny!”

As Jay’s index and middle fingers selected the holographic profile for Silver Ny, it showed his profile characteristics, such as weight, specifications on his 10,000 A.D. armor along with information that he was associated with Windy Lemer. Jay’s teal eyes swivelled throughout the holographical touchscreen. He saw ‘Real Name:’ and immediately looked at it. But it simply was filled in with the words ‘Unknown’. Jay smacked the side of the console in anger, as he read and skimmed more words of the profile. He saw that Silver Ny worked for ‘?????’ by looking through the secret classified files by the US government.

“Silver Ny is not the one behind all of this?” Jay muttered confusingly, as he looked at more info on the metallic futuristic villain. He saw that Silver Ny was ‘Active’ with the computer message flashing, and Jay got surprised, that he actually made it to the timeline he was currently in. His curiosity redirected him back towards his missing half-sister Windy Lemer’s profile, as he was about to select the profile, a large chunk of metallic neon glowing figure punched him on the face.

SMACK!

As he fell to the side of the
