my sibling were kind to the strays that wandered through the yard . I did have a sister who had a mean streak. She delightted in tormenting the smaller sibllings. Her name was Irma and she seemed to have a desire to be in control but when no one would do as she demanded she started to bite and bark to get her way. One day a stray cat who seemed hungry and tired wandered into our yard for shelter from the rain. Irma saw a opportunity to have some fun as she called it. She waited until the cat had settled down under some bushes then crept up and jumped on it. That poor cat must have jumped four feet in the air as Irma continued her harrasement. Mother came over and cuffed her then shooed us away so that the cat might be able to calm down. WE never saw that cat again. There were so many things to learn. Before we left and went to our new humans.
That Goats Ding and Dong had been terroizing the Animals in the barnyard long before I came to live there. When they broke the ropes holding them they used their horns to bully everyone. I had tried to catch them and help my humans with them but I was afraid most times I got caught on the ends and tossed. One day I just could not stand it any longer. With a little care and determined moves I was able to get the rope in my mouth and drag them one at at a time back to their trees so that my humans could retie them. They were suprised tht I could match them tug per pull. After awhile it became more of a game. All the creatures watched each time I confronted them.
Sometimes it became a tug-of -war and the one with the most determination won. And lately it was usually me. I could hear the silent cheers of those who had be on the recieving end of their horns, and I loved it. It became a wonderful game And The two goats had given me respect at least what they felt was called for. Imprint
