Chapter 4: Damon

Tori is her name, Tori`s in my cell. I wasn`t sure if I liked this. She had just used my anger to see something- it`s like shes running tests on me. She brought a rat with her too. How could she hold a dirty rat? Rats are gross.  This girl is wierd, she hates family, friends and anything perfect yet she loves rats.

This isnt important though, right now. I can hear people coming down the hall. Tori`s rat runs over to herand jumps into her open hand. I shake my head disgusted.

"Your a lot like them- the perfefcts i mean. But you have anger issues. We need to fix you." She said as she crawled through her hole. Her cell is still pitch black. I noticed a seemingly dark cloud hanging in the air around her. She was very dark with her raven black hair and her unusually dark brown eyes. I began thinking how beautiful her eyes looked when the light reflected off of them- but i shook off the thought. She needed to fix me how?

"Fix me? The curring camps couldnt fix me so I dont think you can. No offense." I said. "Shh they`ll hear you, their almost here. And I`m not going to fix your anger issues." Her voice was so quiet I almost sisnt hear it. "But Tori... I`m confused-" I began. "Shhh! Not now Damon! Cover the hole, sit in front of it incase they come in." She said. I did what she told me. I could hear her walk closer to me and sit in front of the whole on her side of the cell. We both waited as the footsteps became closer to our cells. They stopped directly in front of her cell and she just laughed.

"About time", she whispered. I was shocked, she was happy!? She was going to die, and she was HAPPY!?

"Left or right?" a male voice asked. The female laughed. "Does it matter? They are all going to die anyway." The female replied.

"True, too bad they cant be like us." The male male said.

"I dont know why the Perfects arent keeping them anymore. Eventually the Perfects are going to have to hang them. Only Imperfects could handle this. The Perfects dont even know about the camps." The female said.

"The Imperfects should be set loose. I hate killing them, but we are forced too. This life sucks." He replied.

"Your right." Said the female. "But we have to so lets go with the left one and get it over with." The door across from Tori`s was opened and a little girl started to whimper.

"Come on, out." The female pleaded nicely. "Shes only what?, 8 maybe 9. This is so wrong." The male said. I could hear the little girl crying.

"Nothing in the Camps are right. Come here little girl, whats your name?"

"A-Annabella." The little girl stuttered. She sounded terrified. She made me think of Phobie. Phobie is my 7-year old little sister. I miss her so much. Iused to play with her everyday. Dolls, dress up, tag, whatever she could think of. I wonder if she missed me?

"Annabella, a beautiful name." The male said.

"I-I`m scared i-i want my mommie!" The little girl wailed.

"Oh sweetheart, i know you do, come here." Said the female. I could hear the little girls foootsteps dissapear, so i think that the female picked her up.

"What did i do wrong?" Annabella asked the female.

"Nothing, you did absolutly nothing wrong. You were just born in an unfair world that doesnt appreciate your beautiful gifts. And trust me, your mommie and daddie love you very much." The female relpied as they began walking away.
