and slid the door open, only to stair down at the flip-flops I would have to wear. The thought of the water even touching me made my skin crawl. I gathered up all my will and reached down for the tan, flimsy, and cheap flip-flops and slipped them onto my feet. Urg! I fucking hate cold water! I cringed as I slipped them onto my feet. Needless to say I hate water... will mainly cold water. warm water like in a hot tub or shower were fine. It's just if it's cold water I will not even touch it. Plus God forbid me from getting my hair wet. It takes a long time to fix it after words. I went down stairs to see Diana and Michel waiting for me at the door.
"Wow, you'r slow." Micheal said.
"Sorry I had to force myself to but on the flip-flops."
"Oh, I forgot! You absolutely loath cold water. Isn't that right, Kara?" Diana said. I nodded my head at her.
"Why?" Micheal asked. Diana smirked and looked at me.
"When we were twelve, we went to the pier with our friend for her birthday, and our friend's older brother threw Kara into the water. After that she was traumatized, hence she hates all cold water." Diana explained briefly. Let me tell you it was more then that. It's true that Josh threw me into the water, and I fell fifteen feet before acutely hitting the water. It was also true that I was traumatized, but she left out the fact that Josh liked me and how I had kicked in his jewels after he tried to "make a move". I was fucking twelve and he was turning seventeen. Umm... pedophile! Yes, I was a bitch even back then, and yes I provoked him, but it gave him no right to pick me up and toss me off the pier! After that I had a fractured arm and a broken leg. Plus I never learned to swim, because my body locks up if I go under water. I also have a slight fear of heights, mainly docks, piers, bridges, and so on and so forth. I looked off to the side and tried to avoid Micheal's eyes.
"Is that true?" He scoffed at me.
"Yes it's true. And thanks to him I now a fear of water." I said coldly.
"Lucky for you, Kara, It's much to cold here to ever swim in the water, plus there's not really any waves only rocks and mellow waves." She said trying to reassure me. We walked out side and climbed into the car. Micheal slid into the drivers seat with Diana as shotgun, leaving me in the back. as soon as we were far way from the house Diana also said,
"Oh, and there's also a pier." As soon as I heard this my eyes widened. I slunk back in my seat and groaned.
"Have I mentioned how much I hate you?" I asked her. She laughed and said,
"Keep it up and I'll make you start paying rent." I shot her a glare and then rested my head against the car door. I soon drifted off to sleep. I was woken up by the feel of the car coming to a stop. My eyes fluttered open and I stepped out of the car. Micheal ran up to me laughing.
"Did you seriously fall asleep in the car? How can you sleep in the car?" He asked me.
"I can fall asleep any time any place." I told him. He raised on eyebrow and smirked as he helped me out of the car. He snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.
"What about my bed?" His hot breath tickled my ear and I pushed him away. I felt my cheeks heat up and were most likely a bright crimson red. I looked back at Diana who had heard his remark and walked up to him and slapped him on the back of the head.
"Disgusting!" She yelled as she stormed off.
