I was feeling a different kind of comfort in his arms as he was lying next to me. “I’ll enjoy torturing you, Miss Davidson,” he whispered in my ear and fisted my hair before tilting my head toward him. His eyes burned like hot lava. “This time you won’t be spared, sweetheart.”
