Over a couple of months pasted and she had been quite busy with her financial planning and business deals in the interim of acquiring awesome photographs for the magazine. Suddenly resentment began to consume her, as she pleasured herself in the luxury comforts of her bungalow writing descriptive articles about her attained photos and ordering room service so she grabbed her camera and set off for a nightly stroll. Soon she would be returning back to Los Angeles in a couple of weeks and she would truly miss those nightly strolls along the beach of which she had grown quite accustom to the peace and tranquility. She loved the island of Tahiti and didn’t want to depart from the island’s beauty, hospitality and culture, she often thought of sending National Geographic all of her awesome photographs of the island and never returning. Especially now that she was financially secure of which consequently, she used a portion of her money on a couple of profitable investments on the island. One being a nice beach bar of where she purchased a piece of beach land adjacent to those magnificent piles of white rocks that seem to glow in the moonlight and named the bar “On the Rocks”. She couldn't think of a better place to establish her business, after all, that's where she discovered the beautiful mirror that changed her life for the better. She also purchased an old abandoned ice house, which was currently being remodeled soon to be transitioned into a wonderful spa of which she will name “Shyra's Comfort Zone” both wonderful recreations that would surely help secure her financially. Of course, she would miss her friends but planned to surprise them with an expense paid two-week vacation to visit the island so that they could all spend a mirthful time together and she knew they would be quite ecstatic.
Suddenly she heard music and laughter and as she reached the top of a small hill, thrilled to see that a Luau festival commenced. As she walked towards the festivities taking picture shots, the beautiful island fire dancers really put on a great show. As she roved she noticed a group of tourist carrying on while trying to do the Hula dance when she chuckled. There was a wonderful fireworks display and as she watched everyone was having a great time but through the crowd of people something amazing caught her interest as their eyes met. Mesmerized by a vision of muscular perfection, she blushed then smiled as he walked over towards her. He was a sexy, handsome chocolate hunk with extremely long locks. As he approached her he smiled then said, “Wow! You’re so beautiful!” He gestured reaching for her hand leading her away from the noisy crowd for a more personal interaction with her. They danced to beat of music that filled the air when instantly he was compelled to embrace her softness then conveyed a very soft sweet kiss to her lips as he attempted to return to his labor. She was so enthralled by his walk, his voice, his charisma as well as his gentleness. Days past as they began to spend quality time together in their acquaintance. Shyra had a mesmeric attraction for this handsome man who overwhelmingly wined and dined her, his name was Usiah. He was a full time head Chef for an exquisite restaurant and a part time Beach Bartender on the weekends when they met while he was on an evening break and was enchanted by her. In so many ways it was a perfect connection and soon they fell in love with talks to get engaged to be married when he expressed he could not live without her. So much had happened so fast and because of all that had transpired, she was convinced that it was her season filled with many blessings. With much certitude, she resigned from National Geographic with plans to start her own photography business and proudly United Parceled all the photographs and articles of the beautiful island back to them for the next month's edition along with a letter of her resignation. It was a great lost for National Geographic to lose such an outstanding photographer as for the awesome work she submitted, it was a job well done and she got the National Geographic exposure she deserved with an scene of the beautiful island on the cover. She had forgotten all about her precious mirror and when housekeeping came to prep-up her bungalow suite, the mirror was unintentionally discarded into the trashcan then taken out with the rest of the trash unfortunately never seen again. It was okay because now Shyra had everything her heart desired and as for that magnificent miracle mirror; well let’s just say if mysteriously granting wishes was really the mirror’s purpose then it had its work cut out ahead when it was last seen being carried away from the trash pile by one of Tahiti’s largely populated creatures, a dog.
