Charles B. Morton is not a normal 20 year old in the Victorian Era. In fact, he does not belong there at all. He used his skills as an inventor to escape to the past through time travel. This is his journal, in which he relates his horrible experiences and the many secrets he was forced to bury.
Sofronia has a hard time making friends, she's a steampunk scene girl, so when Derrick comes around she doesn't really know what to do. Derrick has had a pretty hard life, so when he moves to a new place and meets Soffy, things start to get a lot better. Will it be love at first sight, or will things get complicated.
The recurring dream would not stop, over and over he saw it until he finally decided to do something about it. Crossing a gate to another dimension Arioch finds himself in a world where technology and magic are at odds. Unable to return to his own realm he must seek out his purpose in this world.
