Her probation is on condition that she perform her job well, and also end her own vimp curse so that no other vimps (demon) is reborn after her death.

Tia, the last Sky Child with demonic powers, had committed the unforgivable crime. She killed a policeman by biting his throat out. She should have been executed on the spot since in the country of Brein Amon justice was swift, but a Sky Child born with ancient demonic powers is more valuable alive than dead.
