He meets Amina one last time to asked her to come with him, but her love of family prevented her to leave them. That decision has haunted her ever since, but life has a funny way of turning things around.

There seems to be some sort of pattern in life that dictates of our fate or future if you like. For some lucky people the fates are kind. For others not so.

All freshmen at my school must write fifty poems for english on a specific topic, I chose pain. I have chosen some of my favorites and put them in this book. All works are original. By the way the topic is all types of pain, including abuse and heartbreak, so I do not reccomend this poetry for any readers ages eleven and under. Enjoy.

My adrenaline pumps into overdrive, the man chasing me laughing, getting closer. He's not human. Too strong, too fast, too intelligent. He seems to be holding back, enjoying the chase. If I weren't so frightened it would make me sick. He's not quite....right. Maybe it's his non-human instincts. I don't know. Suddenly his laugh is right by my ear. It sent chills down my spine, giving me goosebumps. I can see him reaching for my arm, so I immediately stop running. He whips past me and turns

Valentine’s Day—the holiday of romance. For sixteen-year-old Reina Williams, it was supposed to be just another day, as were the days leading up to it. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. But when, on the day before, her best friend convinces her to take a break from the boring old tradition of spending the holiday with some chick-flicks and a box of chocolates, and convinces her to attend a late night Valentine’s Day celebration with their friends, things spiral a little out of control,

Jenna, Nadine and Jake are best friends until Jake starts dating Nadine. Jenna distance herself for fear of intruding. One night, Jenna left abruptly then skips town after graduation, leaving Jake and Nadine with more questions than answers. After fifteen years, Jenna came back and bumps into Jake.
