What does a man have left when he can no longer fight? When all you have left are those last dregs of life the world turns it's back on you and you're left to live the last dregs of your life in limbo. This is my entry to the 'Paint Your Picture with Words' contest.
Nothing feels right anymore, and Troy isn't sure what to do about it. It's probably just hormones or something, or at least, he hopes that's all it is.
Everyone has needs, and in order to satisfy these needs we make compromises. Compromise love for safety, beauty for compliance, truth for piece of mind. Even if we are more miserable in the end, there are still things we cannot face, and things that we must have. WINNER: Drabble Contest
Probably one of the more romantic pieces I made. I wrote this for the 4 letters or less contest, I hope everyone likes it. One of my best works in my opinion.
The night is the worst time, the time when Jimmy feels the most helpless. As he watches everything crumble around him the question that he's left with is 'Am I strong enough to save those I love?'. My entry into the Beat the Clock Contest
Who is Susan? A woman trapped by her fears, filled with the anxiety of the day, afraid of the monotony but at the same time afraid of change. She is barely a human, a person trapped in limbo. But there is something inside her, something that lives, something that could salvage her life. Something that could potentially destroy her.
WINNER OF THE YOUNG WRITER OF THE YEAR CONTEST. When a homeless boy named Jack breaks into Angela's bedroom she had no idea the impact he would have on her life. He is unlike anyone she has ever met and she soon finds out that maybe he understands her situation more than he has any right to.
