A short story about an 8-year-old boy with a bad case of monsters-in-the-closet.

I haven't written a short story in a while, so I'm just trying to get the hang of it again. I'm not saying anything about the story here, it's too short and doing that would ruin it. Comments would be greatly appreciated!

I've decided to bundle up the five poems I've written so far. 'Bleak' seemed like a fitting title, given the subjects which are dwelled on. Then all I had to do was choose an order that seemed logical, and there we are. Once I've written another five poems they'll go in a new bundle, and so on.

So there it is, my new bundle of poems. It contains the poems 'The Raft', 'This Strange State', 'The Desert' and 'Crossroads' previously published, and a new one entitled 'The Power Of Words' as well. I named it 'The Author Prevails', after a line in that last poem, and also because everytime I finish a poem I feel like I've won a battle, like I've prevailed. I hope you enjoy it, and don't be shy to give me your opinions and advice.

So, I've tried my hand at a sonnet. It's a renowned form of poetry, and quite complicated to pull off. But I've done my best. It's a poem appropriate for this time of year, I would say. I hope you like it, and don't be shy to give it to me straight in the comments.

Just me using a light poem about coffee to experiment with some alternative rhyme structures. Comment if you'd like, and heart if you will, but above all, enjoy! That's what I do it for. (alright, that's a lie. But that's the human condition, isn't it?)

I watched the last two films again recently, and it brought back a lot of beautiful memories. This is just an expression of those feelings, and probably of the feelings of all of the HP generation. I'm so glad I got to grow up with Harry and his friends, and sorry for anyone that didn't.

So it's been a while.. a long while. But tonight I had such a profound experience I just had to write it down and share it with you. This is a poem about my loneliness, and how I relish in it. I don't always do, but tonight I did.
