This is a sample of writing from a character in a short story that I've written. It is also yet another attempt on my part to write Haiku. It is a work in progress. Feel free to comment. This poem also appears in my book, IDLE THOUGHTS.
After coming back from a dangerous mission which left his friend and partner, the werewolf: Emilia in a coma. Anargrin is sent on another mission: to hunt down a rogue vampire. A rogue vampire with no consistent modus operandi and who is exceedingly good at hiding its tracks. So much so even the veteran Anargrin is forced into desperate speculation.
A talking mountain lonely as can be. Then one day a human wanted a grand place to live. So he thought why not live on a talking mountain. The mountain was delighted but he had a condition, you must talk to me every morning before you go to work. The man thought this was easy enough so he agreed. But when life and death come to the human's way, will he be able to keep his promise?
„Learn, My people, learn, and do not forget that where there is no humility, there is no resurrection, there is no Holy Spirit in man, there is no God with the man, ...”
„Those who were born saints and those who have become saints at My teaching have known Me, but today I have been prophesying on the earth ...”
„Oh, sons of the people, you look in vain to the place where I was crucified by the people of that time. It is in vain that you go there to boast that you were there; in vain, oh, sons of the people, for here is the Lamb of God, coming as word in the midst of the Roma-nian people in which He has His dwelling and kingdom now, in the end of the time.”
