Think of all the things you have in your life. Food, a home, water, clothes, ext. Now imagine them suddenly ripped away from you and your whole world instantly crumbles apart. That's how little 8 year old Caroline Mathews felt when she was tossed into the streets of New York City. The reason? She doesn't know, but thinks it is because of her powers. Now she has to not only take care of herself, but her little sister as well. But her journey is only just beginning.
this is a mix of poetry styles. but in one way or another they are all dark, and have depth.
