“Got it, I’ll take care of them.” Toraku found what he was looking for, grabbing a pistol and a knife, the same tools he used to kill Kiran, from under the sink.
Kiran, who was still watching them, thought to himself. What an idiot. I can’t believe he’s the one who killed me. Or that he was my best friend; I made a lot of mistakes. And two of the biggest are under me.
Two minutes after Toraku ran out of the apartment and headed to the gas station, the painful silence that had arisen as Holocene had a stare-off with the door ended when she pulled out her phone. She dialed several numbers into it, raising it to her ear.
Whoever she contacted picked up and the two began chatting as if nothing had happened; as if she didn’t send Toraku to death.
“You can come over, the idiot’s gone.” She told the person. She waited a few seconds, hearing the person’s response. “Well…” She twirled her hair around her finger, putting her best cutesy voice on. “... you can become my number one if… you either kill or lock up my ex.”
He became an ex like that? Kiran thought. My parents and friends were right about you. Nothing but a scheming woman.
“I prefer if you ended him, since he won’t be able to mess with our love. That’s if you truly care about our love.” Holocene told him. She waited for his response, disappointed by it. “You don’t have to press the trigger. I already sent him off to kill some of the gas station workers. All you need to do is provoke him a bit and let him send himself to jail. Or get shot by the police, either option works for me.”
She continued trying to convince the man on the other side, using her verbal tactics to set him up as her new boyfriend, replacing Toraku in the same way she did to Kiran.
“If he’s gone then you become my number one, right?” Her cutesy voice was being overworked at this point. “It’s a slam dunk Mason. Just poke at him a bit and let him bite the bullet… literally.”
Mason, her new love interest, was finally convinced by her plan. She thanked him, telling Mason the address of the gas station before hanging up. She threw her phone back into her pocket, approaching the front door. She opened it, peering outside before heading towards the living room.
“Let’s hope this guy actually has some money. Toraku basically tricked me by flaunting his non-existent wealth. I need new clothes and my nails done.” She grabbed something out of Kiran’s view, dropping it at her feet.
“Man this guy is worse than the last. At least Kane gave me whatever I wanted. Toraku can barely afford this three thousand dollar apartment. It’s time I get rid of him. I’m bored with him already. He’s way too obedient and clingy - there’s simply no fun with him anymore, just like how Kane was.” She ranted to herself, not realizing that one of her exes was in the same room as her.
So… she was bored with me? She killed me because she wasn’t having fun with me anymore? I lost my life for a reason as stupid as that? Kiran was now seething with more anger than he entered with.
No more waiting, I need to end her today. I cannot wait any longer. She discarded my life like an empty candy wrapper. Time to do the same for her. My revenge will be fulfilled and this apartment will be stained. You are going to hell, Holocene.

Episode Fifty One "The Last Vampire S1 E6 - Mysterious Author"“How dare she ignore me!” The beastkin orphan shouted. He raised his hand, threatening to strike her. Angelica faced his palm, cringing as he made a show out of raising his hand. The orphan was a wolf beastkin with dark gray fur and scattered brown spots.
“Randolph! You are going too far! You do not attack each other!” Sister Alecia shouted, shooting up from her chair. “Sit back down and apologize and I won’t punish you!”
Randolph didn’t pay attention to his teacher’s words, deciding to strike. His hand fell downward, headed for Angelica. It sped quickly as if it was a life-or-death situation if it didn’t make contact with Angelica’s face.
Angelica cringed, closing her eyes. Her muscles tensed up as they waited for the strike. She waited for Randolph’s hand to go cleanly across her face, stinging her with pain. She didn’t want the pain but knew it would come quickly and effectively.
However, the strike never came. She opened her eyes, ajar at first before fully opening them. In front of her was Randolph, his hand stopped midway in the air. Tasu held his wrist firmly. Randolph couldn’t escape his grip, stuck in place.
He let out a short yelp before the entire class let out a collective gasp. They were surprised and anxious about a fight happening within the classroom.
“Release him!” Sister Alecia ordered, moving from behind her desk to Tasu’s side. Tasu nodded, moving from Randolph’s side to in front of him, shielding Angelica. He released his grip, throwing his arm away from them. It dropped and flopped at Randolph’s side.
Tasu and Randolph glared at each other, neither of them dropping it - until Sister Alecia stepped in. “Both of you, stop it!” She grabbed Randolph, pulling him away. Tasu didn’t back away, remaining in front of Angelica.
Randolph shook Sister Alecia off him, moving away from her. He glared at Tasu and Angelica, then a quick glare at his other classmates. They were all staring at him, their eyes carefully monitoring him.
He dashed to the door, opening the door, before glancing at Sister Alecia. “Don’t you dare leave!” She shouted.
He did dare, deciding to storm out of the classroom and down several long hallways. He passed through a backdoor, which was severely under guarded, and found himself in the back of the orphanage. Waiting for him was a man dressed in a black cloak, grinning to himself.
“I did what you told me to do, but a kid got in my way. His name is Tasu. I want him dead!” He declared to the man.
The man nodded. “Find out if that girl is truly the last vampire and I’ll take care of both of them. She should be masking her horns with a hat or magic, so take this.” He handed Randolph an object from within his cloak, a small metal sphere. “It’s a Magic Disruptor. It’ll disable magic within a twenty-foot area. Activate it by pressing this button.” He pointed to a small silver button on the sphere. “Then-” He took out another device, showing it off. “-use this Photograph Taker device. Get a clear picture of the girl in her true form and return it to me. I’ll summon my buddies and we’ll take care of her and that kid.” The man told Randolph.
Randolph nodded. “Will… Will you also adopt me after I do?”
The man hesitated to respond before cracking a toothy smile. “Of course I will. As long as I get clear evidence of the girl being a vampire.”
Randolph nodded. “I’ll do it.”
“Good… don’t disappoint me.” The man said. “We’ll be waiting in the Tower.”
Randolph watched as the man disappeared into the darkness, utilizing a Darkness-related teleportation skill to vanish without a trace. Randolph lingered in place, smiling to himself. Soon, I’ll have a family. A true family! His mind was racing with happy thoughts. For the first time in a long while, he was looking towards the future and not the past.
He later returned to class, ten minutes after storming out, and was severely punished by Sister Alecia and Sister Marie. Even so, he didn’t mind it.
As for Tasu, he had consoled Angelica after the sudden outburst of anger coming from Randolph before returning to his seat. Sister Alecia continued the lessons, stopping temporarily to move Randolph to a different seat and deliver his punishment of cleaning the lunchroom for the next month and to write a two-page apology essay for Angelica, before finishing everything she wanted to for the day. She sent everybody home, except for Randolph since Sister Marie wanted her turn in scolding him.
Meanwhile, Tasu led Angelica to her new room in the female dorms. On the front door to Angelica’s home for the next several years was a large sign. The sign read, “Welcome to Dorm 5B; You’re Being Monitored!” However, Angelica’s attention wasn’t on the sign but on what was under it. A small note was taped under the sign, reading “I know your secret.”
She let out a gasp that grabbed Tasu’s attention. He noticed the note, grabbing it and crumbling it into a ball. “Don’t worry about the note. Go inside and meet with your new roommates. Don’t tell them about your race, be wary of them. However, don’t act too distant. They may end up being really nice.” He told her.
She nodded, slightly trembling. The note had no signature or initials of the author. It could be anybody - that thought worrying her. Somebody could be stalking her, ready to expose her identity at any moment.
Tasu touched her shoulder, grabbing her attention. “Don’t worry, you’ll be safe here. I’ll bring this up to Sister Marie. We’ll find who wrote this before they say anything. For now, go and enjoy your time here.” He looked at the sign. “Welcome to Greenfire Orphanage’s Dorm room 5B. Your new home.”
Angelica stared at him, breaking out a small smile. “Thanks.”
Tasu shook his head. “Don’t thank me. Thank the Heavens.”
Angelica nodded, turning back towards the door. “Bye.”
Tasu nodded. “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He walked off, leaving Angelica by herself. He went around a corner, stopping. He glanced over the corner at Angelica, who took a deep sigh, before opening the door. Squeals confirmed to Tasu that her dorm mates took an interest in her.
Now, Tasu looked around, looking for any potential leads. I need to find out who wrote that letter. Without Sister Marie’s help. I’ll find the author by myself.

With Chase winning, Ashanti ascended to the second round, now pitted against Velma. Chase was going against Velma’s Nine-Tail Fox.
“Will you be okay?” Ashanti asked.
Chase nodded. “I just have to destroy her and we move forward.” He said nonchalantly.
Ashanti shook her head. He makes it out like it’s an
