"Well I can and I will, because I have more pressing concerns to deal with like providing for us" Said the girl as she gathered her bag of medicine and medicinal tools and stormed out of the house.
"Hahhh, goooood riddance" Sighed Lars as he continued on tinkering with the machine
The rest of the sleep for Mac was too uneasy. The next morning as Mac awakened he couldn't notice the girl which was a good call for him. He slowly made his way to the front door but even before reaching the door he collapsed, It was a good thing that Lars saw and caught him. Lars propped him up over their dining table and got him some stale bread and some bit of dirty water" Sorry this is all we've got"
"Nah, it's great. It's more than enough compared what you have done for me"Mac said as he chowed down on the bread and water.
After satisfying his needs Mac started to get up again but Lars quickly stopped him" Mac, stop. I know that you heard everything but I also know that you are in no state to travel. Especially that you have no place to go"
"If this is about repaying me for saving you. Don't worry I don't take charges.”
"Oh no, If this is about those bone crushers or about the fantastic man-spider, I know I already haved. This is about being human"
Mac stared at awe. He couldn't comprehend that this wisecracker just may have a heart " Well at least let me earn my keep" demanded Mac
"Nahhh. I don't think someone as injured as you can do any work at all"
"No look I'm healthy again" Said Mac as he air box
"Well If you really want to help, Here's an address of a person who needs my help but most fortunately I am busy repairing an item for another person." Said Lars as he handed Mac a piece of paper.
Lars then scanned Mac “You may also need to change clothes; hopefully there may be clothes in the closet that suits you"
Lars started to get up “Well if that is all then cheerio then and good luck. But seriously go change"
Mac stared at his own clothes. Lars was right he does need to change. His shirt was all torn apart, His jeans’ zipper was missing leaving it open, and his shoes...... Well let's just say that One-do is missing. But the worst part of it all was that it was prison garbs. Mac slowly made his way to closet opened it and was surprised by what he saw.
