‘QUESTIONS’
“Liam!” Young Ellie asked that night. "Who created Christmas? Was it Santa?” I just look at her with a smile on my face. Although I was been pressured by my mama back in America for me to find a woman to marry, I couldn’t help my old friend Hozana's granddaughter’s curiosity about who created Christmas. Tire and yawning while Hozana, her granddaughter, and I laughed patiently because of the way I was yawning. “Why you-!” I giggled. Hozana bind us both goodnight, marched out of Ellie's bedroom, and out of our sights. "No, friend," I answered. "God created Christmas then?" She asked. "Exactly. God gave us Christmas." I yawned. "Is God more important than Santa?" Eleanor amazed. "Ha-ha-ha, you question after questions." I laughed. Ellie laughed hard too. "Alright, I will answer the questions of your restless mind. Oh, yes, much more even more important!" I nodded. "Wow, but still I don't understand, Liam. Did Santa or was God who did?" Eleanor asked. "Well, just a minute! Let me go get my Holy Bible and we will find out ourselves. Don't you think so, Ellie?" I smiled. "Right...right, Liam, just be quick!" Eleanor scoffed. "Hah, so impatient are we now?" I asked. "Just go, Liam! Hurry! And I am so impatient because I need to know where did Christmas come from." Eleanor signed. "Right...right, Excellency Grumpiness, I am going," I replied.
Dashing out of her bedroom, while remaining asleep on her bed. All of a sudden Eleanor overheard laughter outside she went out towards her window that night unless she saw three girls with their mother. Their father was just a few inches behind them, holding their little brother. Eleanor grimaced at the girls who were playing outside with their mother. One was young but seems like she was twelve years of age, the second one was about ten years of age, and the last one of the girls was eight years of age. "Um, would look at them? Very happy and full of laughter with their mother. I wish I could have my own to play with, but she died while giving birth to me. Why would God take my parents so early?" Eleanor wondered. I came in quietly when I saw my old best friend Hozana's grandchild looking at her window with a sad expression. 'Um, poor girl.' I thought. "I am here, Eleanor? And what did you find out there?" I asked. Without Eleanor answering my question, I marched up next to her at the window where she was standing. Where I saw what she was looking at, was a mother with her daughters playing, and their father holding their little brother looking at them with a smile. "I see. Is that's why you're not answering me, right Eleanor?" I asked. "Well, of course, Liam. I wish I could be like them but I don't have my own parents. And just would at them full of happiness and joy!" Eleanor signed. I sign deeply.
