THIRTEEN

Chaos roamed the whole world like a roaring lion, seeking for whom to devour. Matilda Regne, Will Cornerstone, and Willow Regne had defeated Darkness, another Darkness even more powerful being is on the loose. Called by the name of Chaos across the whole world, the trio of humans once again must go across time. Putting everything all together with the national wide universal in misery, darkness, and despair with any humans who had a little bit of light and hope within out of existence. Chaos killed all of those who had lights within their hearts, souls, and minds. Willow just turned thirteen years of age. Her years of starting high school it was just on the corner. Matilda's graduation day was supposed to be on Friday. Willow's birthday turning thirteen was today in the morning. Everything was perfect in the Regne's generations. Last night trees were waving endlessly without stopping and were raining cats and dogs outside, and it is going to be Friday of this day. After that, sunrise is going to be the Regne family's whole new year. It was raining and thunder was clapping unstopping till the next early in the morning. Matilda wake up as her little sister was awake already.

Claire, their mother, was baking vanilla cake, her daughter's favorite flavor. Matilda would start her day, and read her Holy Bible. "Jesus. Thank you for today. I mean the breath of life, health, and grace which never ends," Matilda thanked. She then gets out her blanket, goes to her bedroom restroom and does everything she does every morning. That it is to go to church. Matilda came out of the bathroom ready, took her backpack, and bid her family farewell and was lucky that she was not going to miss her little sister's birthday party. For it is going to be after her graduation day. Later on at school, Matilda was playing basketball alone unless some mean girls came and tripped her. Whereas she fell belly first on her stomach with a grunt. "Well-well, what do we have here? If it isn’t Matilda." She interrupted. Matilda opened her eyes and she saw her worst nightmare. "Naomi?! What's the meaning of this? And where is the third person?" Matilda asked. "Matilda my dearest, Imani is no longer our friend. Well, since she denied it to be your worst nightmare. Can you truly believe that she ran away with her tail behind her?" Naomi said. "Well, it seems like she is wiser than you two," Matilda said. "Um, thank you very much. Here let me help you, " Naomi chuckled.

Imani helped Matilda up. Matilda looked at her confusedly but gave her hand while Imani helped her up. "Imani! You traitor-gah!" Naomi grunted. Well, because Matilda quickly lifted her basketball and threw it at Noami's face. Noami was furious till both the girls charged after her, but she struck them both with her basketball. Imani laughed as the girls angrily gave up and walked away as they said, "this it isn’t over yet Matilda!" Noami and Sifa marched away bleeding on their noses, but shocking her principal saw everything from her office window. "Imani. I couldn't believe you would change all of a sudden. Why?" Matilda asked. "Well, because I was jealous of you," Imani answered. "Jealous? Of me?" Matilda blinked. "Sure. I mean you are the most breathtaking girl. Every guy here at university wants to have you for their woman and acts like you don't care. Have a mother who loves you so dearest. I always wanted that kind of life. That peaceful environment which you were living in, but ever since you went missing for a week, and later returned everything has become peaceful in my family. Well, before that, my parents used to fight to the point of getting divorced. My siblings were a nightmare to say mean names to me. Still, all of that disappeared the moment you came back from whatever place you went." Imani answered.

Well, we thank Jesus for restoring love and hope in your family." Matilda responded. "Um, Amen, my old friend. And you know for the longest time, but I was too jealous and prideful against you." Imani gulped. "Old friend. Finally, I had a friend. I mean a best friend!" Matilda squealed. Imani laughed lightly when she saw Matilda happy.

CHAPTER TWO

THIS BRINGS BACK MEMORY

Imani laughed lightly when she saw Matilda happy. Whereas Matilda grimaced at her with a smile. "I too wanted to be your best friend for decades," Matilda said. "For real?" Imani shocked. "Surely, " Matilda replied. Huh, thank you Matilda. And how about Will Cornerstone?" Imani asked. "Why? Do you loved him?" Matilda teased. Imani blushed for a moment whereas it made Matilda laughed hard. "Of course not! I am just asking. Besides, you and him could be a great couple. Nevertheless,  how is that going with you two?" Imani asked. "Well, fine. And doesn't seemed like Will Cornerstone is ever interesting in me." Matilda said. Imani was shock to hear such rubbish Matilda was vomiting. "Wrong Matilda. Will Cornerstone is surely interesting in you, but just hiding it. I don't know why. Probably is afraid of rejection. Or something-!" Imani paused.
