'Celestial Lands'

It was an beginning to an end of an era, large storm were caressing the world below. Trees were ripped up and destroyed in the blink of an eye. Animals died and decayed faster than the beat of a humming bird heart. Rivers and lakes dried up leaving nothing but emptiness. At this point, the world had met its end, a once glorified place, now being swept up by the anger, the hatred, the darkness of the black hole.

Stepping out into the world, Amalthea Dulease takes in her wonderful surroundings, the breathtaking views of the forests, mountains, the glistening waves of the lakes, the proud high structure of the city in front of her.

Her homeland 'Celestrial'. A world unknown to many but known by all. Many know this as Fantasia the place where fantasies come true. But this Celestrial a realm where fantasy and nightmares meet reality. It's a powerful world. A world where things go bump in the night come to life, where hero's become the weak and the weak become the hero's.

Walking down her familiar forest path Amalthea glances back at her home a small delicate cabin, blending in with the forest foliage placed directly near a lake but not just any lake but the Blue Moon Lake .

Walking down the path she looks at her appearance, her pink hair with black highlights, frame her round face, showing her deep pink eyes and red lips. Her travelling clothes green as the forest so she blends into nature. Touching the waters edge the ripples run along her image.

Hearing a bird flap its wings strongly nearer, she turns swiftly in search for what had frightened the new bird. Standing still and slowly listening to her surroundings she listens to all the sounds in turn, a washer woman washing her clothes in the nearby river, a doe and her young fawn grazing in the meadow, the laughter of the people in the city, the quiet noises ofteh forest animals doing there day to day routine. Sensing no danger Amalthea calms and heads towards the city.

Walking through the forest, Amalthea here's all the animals and fellow people around her. She hears a carriage and four horses coming up behind her, standing to the side of the road she lets them pass. Riding past her she notices the blue carriage and palentino horses.. Odd she thinks thats the Lord Marshalls Carriage of Sinclair why is he travelling to the main city this time of year? With the breeze of the carriage knocking off her hood she repositions the hood back onto the head and carries on walking to the city.

Nearing the city gates she sees that the security has been stepped up. The gates are closed with guards positioned outside the gate aswell as within.

Amalthea walks up to the guard and requests to be allowed to enter. The Elven Guard looks at her and then to his fellow commander they begin to have a conversation in there native tongue.

Rolling her eyes Amalthea interrupts the conversation by joining in.

(elven) Are you going to let me pass?
' you speak elven The first guard asks

Yes, Are you going to let me pass? Amalthea repeats herself getting frustrated at the hold up. The guards commander then speaks

I cannot let anyone pass

Reason

The commander laughs

Do you think i should tell a peasant like you?
Amalthea detested the word peasant... No one in this world deserved such a title!. Upon hearing this she takes down her hood and in a official tone raised her voice at the commanders and showed them her Auryn the symbol of the Elementals.

I am Lady Amalthea Dulease, Apprentice to the priests and elders of the elements, I Demand an answer to my question and Demand you let me pass
Amalthea's eyes were blazing with fury, her eyes bore into the guard and commanders soul. Seeing that they had disrespected a student of the elements the guards backed down.

My apologies, I am]Commander Faeron Cualar. This is Guard Volondan, we cannot let anyone enter as it is cleanising day

Upon hearing these words Amalthea , gets angry.

Cleanising day...? You mean to tell me that the Lord Marshall of Sinclair came to oversee the cleaning up of the city?

The guard backed down his eyes thrawt with terror. The commander looked on showing no fear, but determination that a lowly student cannot cross the theshold into the city.

Getting angrier still Amalthea looks at the guards, her pink eyes burning brightly... taking a small pouch of her robe she puts her hands in and removes the soft green powder and blows in their faces whispering serenity the guards become calm.

In her light musical voice she asks again keeping her eyes on the guards, her eyes emit a soft glow, trancing the guards.
Letting her past both the guards let her through, once the gates had closed behind her both charms wore off leaving them puzzled.

A broken clock face shimmers in the moonlight, the clock hands never moving, remaining on one number 13. The wind picks up and a loud creak can be heard. Looking towards the city the creak is identified, it’s a broken shop sign hanging on 2 chains above the shop door. 3 letters can be seen ‘D R E’. Walking along the cobbled street, the scenery around becomes unbearable. Shops and homes completely destroyed others with half the walls still standing rats and bugs can be heard crawling around.

Ahead a fountain appears it’s cracked, half the statue has crumbled into the fountain bowl. Water is still there but it’s dark and murky. It looks as though it captures the light never to let it go again. Looking to the left, a shop window look as it withheld the battle that happened here. A pale skin hand brushes against the dirt and dust gathered in the window surface to reveal the face of the unknown traveller. With long, straight raven hair embracing the round shaped face her red lips added dynamic contrast to her pale skin and her purple eyes looking out of the reflection as cold as and as dark as the surroundings around her.

Her lips move, a soft whisper like sound escapes from them and disappears into the wind passing by.
‘Midnight, what are you doing here?’
Walking through the ruin city a sign appears, Ivy is all over the sign covering most of the letters but it’s still readable to those who understand it.

'Bloodrose Empire’

‘Castle of the Bloodroses’

Thunder sounds from above Midnight. Looking up at the sky she closes her eyes to the rain, letting it fall onto her delicate features. Suddenly Midnight opens her eyes and turns her head to the right as a carriage appears. Looking at it strangely, Midnight stare’s at the oncoming carriage. The slate grey carriage begins to slow, the albino horses footsteps mimicking a small child’s.

Stopping in front of Midnight the coachman turns towards her and in a thick cockney accent speaks out.

‘G’eve misses’

Rolling her eyes she moves her wet hair away from her face.

‘I no who ya ‘r misses. ‘Aster ‘Horn sent mi’
Stepping down from the carriage he opens the door to reveal the lush red interior leather seats complete with matching curtains. Taking one last look at the castle ruins, Midnight signs and climbs into the carriage shutting the door behind her the coachman takes his seat and rears up the horses and begins his journey.

Scurrying through the bushes, near the Carpathian Mountains, a young woman appears her eyes blood shot and red, her lips dripping with blood. Stopping at the mountainside she looks around and then begins to climb. Blood red tears begins to fall from her eyes onto her hands while she is climbing, her cries echoing around the mountains,

Dark clouds begin to form in the night sky. Thunder rolls across the mountains; rain begins to fall slowly then picks up speed. Her long blonde hair becomes drenched sticking at her face and neck, her white torn dress sticking to her body showing her curvy figure. Climbing up onto a ledge she notices a small hidden cave that goes deep into the mountain. Still sobbing and crying tears she climbs into the cave and walks in deeper.

A whispered voice can be heard “come this way, my child”. Following the sound of the voice, her feet and legs bloody she carries on walking deeper into the cave. She then stumbles into an opening of a cavern, lit by a few fire lanterns and a bonfire in the middle of the room.

“Welcome, I’ve been expecting you” the whispered voice says. Walking further into the cavern she looks around to see who is speaking, a silhouette of a man appears, sitting on the rocks away from the fire. “I was beginning to give up on you”

The man stands up slowly and begins to stalk the young maiden. A shadow closely follows him, not allowing any light to reveal who he is.
Standing still her eyes still blood red, she stares at the moving figure watching his every move, she becomes startled when he suddenly appears standing behind her. Whispering into her ear “welcome home my beloved maiden”, he moves her blood mattered hair away from her neck and slowly kisses it, smiling an evil grin.
