The silver flesh of the bite was printed on Alaki's skin. It's was a reminder of who he was: A hunter. The bite came from the first man ever to be changed into a wolf. Sometimes the mark would burn from the thought of it.
Alaki looked down at the torn body before him. A child, no older than fifteen, was covered with blood that seeped from his neck. His brown eyes looked up into the nocturnal night. Alaki didn't like the sight. Didn't like to see a human shredded by his very on claws. Turning away, Alaki rushed into the dark forest like a gazelle on the move. He had to find a way to end the curse that had befallen his tribe and others around the world. But his thought said punish.
The thought seemed to be the only solution. He had no idea how to end this terrible form.
Alaki rushed to the cave he spent his nights in and plunged into darkness. Hearing his bones crack into place when he phased, Alaki moved aside a pile of rags. Underneath the cloths was a small bundle of moon rocks. Their white, polished surface was smooth under his rough fingers. He grabbed two. The smell of the meat next to the burnt out fire was foul. The blood from the dead humans would support his plan. Clashing blood and stone together, Alaki spat out a ritual that would bind the ingredients to the incantations. In his mind he saw destruction and bodies lifting from the graves, stalking the helpless and feeding upon his people. Alaki shuddered, dropping the stones to the floor.
A moan from the cave entryway made him turn his head. A man, as tall as him, stoof there in leather cloths. His bloody face dripped with a grotesque splatter on the floor. Alaki stood in wonder, realizing his spell worked. Reaching out, Alaki touch the man's gnarled and cold hands. With a swift motion the man grasped Alaki's arm and clamped his teeth onto it. His teeth sunk into the brown flesh, making Alaki scream in pain. The man snarled like an animal with blood painting his face and hands.
The other bodies awoke, their bodies decomposing and bloody as well. Alaki's screams became muffled as the others brought their bodies down upon him and ate his flesh.
I bit the zombie's hand off, watching as black blood streamed from the stub. It let out a moan and reached for me, but I stepped aside and let my tail droop between my legs. My ears are pinned back to my head as I growled at my enemy.
