I am not what most people think I am. I can be dangerous, and I can be nice. I am fallen but I am worshiped. Through my years I have found I can't love but people can love me. I kill people who get too close.
People who find out what I am fear me for I am a symbol of evil and I am a master at murder. I serve the devil for if I do not I die a slow and painful death. I am trapped and it seems like no one can save me. I will be this way for eternity and there is nothing I can do.
Have you guess what I am?
I am Robin, a dark angel.
“Run, David! Run!” We are running through a dark forest, I can't even see my feet. I am breathing heavy and I am tired. I see David trip and fall and as soon as he does I have him in my arms and I'm running for both of our lives (though I cannot die, only get injured).
I ball of blue toxic flies by me. “Dammit! Go back to hell Josh, you aren't taking this one from me.” I jump up to dodge another ball of toxic.
I feel my body start to change. My clothes glow and they are turning to black leather. My thick, dark wings are folding out of my shoulder blades. My skin turns into white ivory, and my black hair falls into waves to my waist. My eyes that were a deep purple/brown turn into a bright purple and my eye sight sharpen so I can see hundreds of yards in front of me.
I jump up onto a large branch and lay David down. I turn on my hunches and hold my breath, listening for any sound. When I hear nothing I hop down from the branch and let my powers course through me. I know Josh has acquaintances and I know that he wants me back.
I heard a twig snap, I flashed around still seeing nothing.
“Well, well, well. Look who is running again and with a new friend.” As the voice spoke I turned around. The voice was everywhere and nowhere. I started to panic, my enemy was nowhere to be seen and I had left David alone.
I started to run back to find David but I got hit hard in the wing and I got sent flying. When I hit the ground after being air born I felt my wing snap outta place. I didn't scream because Josh sees it as a weakness. I got on my knees and looked up and what I saw was impossible to me.
Josh had David in his grasp. I couldn't tell if David was alive or not, it didn't look like it but I decided to play the odds. “Why do you want me back? All I do is fail you, and all you do is take away people I care about.” I didn't realize until now how much I wished for him to appreciate me.
He tilted his head to the side, “You never failed me Robin. The truth is we need you back, without you the whole guard is failing. You are the only one of us that have excellent battle strategy.” He looked like he truly believed it.
“You do.” I spoke and when the words came out it knew it was true.
“You care for this boy?” I nodded “I will let him go if you give your dark promise to me.”
I felt torn, it could mean so much. “Fine.” I walked up to him and shook his hand. A black ribbon of darkness curled around our hands and a bright flash happened. I took a step back. “Now let him go.”
“I will.” He dragged his finger across David's neck. “I'm letting him go from this world.”
I ran to David who was now laying limp on the ground. “No! No, no, no! Damn you to hell!” I could feel the tears swelling up inside me. Not again.
Josh walked over and lifted my face to his. “He has seen too much and he would have told someone, you know that.” He looked into my eyes and I wanted to claim him a lair but I knew he was telling the truth.
I jerked my head out of his hand and started to walk. “I know your right, now lets go and get this all figured out.” My voice had became hard again, I was a soldier. I was fighting on the side that I never thought I would be on.
Josh came up to my side and grabbed my hand, our promise brands side by side on our wrists. “You're choosing the right side Robin. I for one am happy to have you back.” He lend down and kissed behind my ear.
My brand burned and I knew that the sun was rising, our deal had been set in stone.

Walking through the doors that I had once ran from was a shocking experience for me. I saw tons of others that I've known for a long time, others I've never seen before. Either way they all stared. So I ignored them and looked at the dark room. Lava teirs were coming up from the ground, fire pits near the walls, and molten rock walls. Everyone's nightmare of hell. I looked back at the people, they were gaping at me now, they had realized who I am.
“Don't worry, they are just shocked to see you back again.” Josh sent a wink at me attempting to cheer me up.
By then we were at a set of onyx black double doors that lead to him. I trembled a little being so close to these doors. I could feel the cold chill coming from behind the door, I could sense nothing behind it but that didn't make me less scared.
“I never thought I would be here again. I hoped I never would be.” I whispered.
“Well, too late to hope. Lets go.” Josh pulled me through the double doors and into the cold.
We walked in slowly, each step echoing in the dark and cold room. The room was like I remembered. It was all black, so black that it seemed like you can walk into it. At the end of the long corridor there was a throne, that was the only set-off in the room. It was short and red with a tall back. It had the skulls of the dead sitting on top. It was his throne.
Sitting on it, reading, was a handsome man with hair dark as pitch. His eyes were a steel blue that seemed as though they could kill you with just a look. He looked up from his book and when he saw me his eyes widened in surprise. “Well Josh, it seems as though you finally caught her. Good job.” He stood up slowly and started to walk toward me. He stopped two feet from me and took and looked me over. “You look like you stayed in shape fairly well and your still as beautiful as ever I must say Robin.”
I glared at him. “Of course I stayed in shape, I had Josh trying to catch me left and right.” I was frustrated and my wings twitched irritably.
He looked looked at me with sad eyes, “We need you back darling and I see that you have made a dark promise.” He grabbed my wrist not at all gently. “You are to come back and you will have your same rank. You will help us defeat the other angels and we will win. Do you have any problem with this?” He looked deep into my eyes.
Oh, I had a problem all right but if I said anything I would end up in the cells. “No, I'll do as you say.” Saying that put a deep gash in my slow heart. I didn't want to give up that easily.
“Good. Now we have a Ball to get ready for and you will attend. First I will give you your rank back.” He touched my wings and the gold and silver slashes that prove I have a high rank appeared. “Josh, get her something dark gray. It will go well with her violet eyes and ranking.” With that he walked away into his adjoining bedroom and shut the door.
I put my head down I defeat. I hated being his little dress-up doll. Me, the old me, would never give up like I just did. I know no matter how hard I fight, how far I run, he will still catch me. There was no escaping it. I have been defeated.
