I was in my room dressing up in a pair of skinny jeans, a graphic tee, and some boots.
I ran downstairs into the kitchen for breakfast.
I opened the refrigerator; what a downer.
"Mom! I told you not to buy D Blood! I don't drink that!" I shout loud enough for her to hear from upstairs.
I hear someone laugh. I turn around to see my mom.
"Ugh, you really scared me..." I trailed off.
"Look, sorry. I thought every Précieux drinks D Blood. Unlike you, you drink blood+!"
"I had this conversation, already & I will not do it again!"
"Mom! I am! I just don't drink or eat the same things. And that doesn't make me less than a Précieux! Gosh, Mom! You can be so bossy at times!"
"Me? Bossy? At least I'm mature and can be a real Précieux!"
I grabbed my bag and walked out. I heard her say something but my anger had grew & made me
"Hon, you're one of us! You should act like us and have a better name!"
hear nothing.
Nothing. Not the rain drops, not the cars slamming on the water, nothing. Nothing at all.
Silence.
I didn't know where I was going, my whole vision was black & white, but mostly black. It was like an old time movie, but it was on mute.
"Kasol, Kasol, Kasol, Kasol, Kasol....." A repitively melody chanted.
Where was this sound coming from?
My anger never grew so much, ever. I learned how to control it but it wasn't working like it was unstoppable.
Maybe a nice drink of blood+ would do, but where was it? I saw nothing...now it was all black. I could still feel my legs moving, my bag "jumping" up and down on my thigh, and my arms swaying to the chant.
"Kasol , Kasol, Kasol," It continued.
I felt like tearing my ears off ; I even tried.
I screamed in pain, my ear was aching, my legs felt bruised, and arms, as if I had none.
I fell to the hard cold ground.
"Kasol...."
I woke up in a dark narrow room with a door that was only meant for dogs to come in through.
I sniffed the air, it was cold and breezy.
I wasn't where I was before, neither did I know where I was.
I looked at what I was laying in; a bed. I wanted to yell and scream, but I just laid there.
I felt exhausted, weak, and depressed like a deer surrounded by a pack.
All clutched up and ready to go for the worst. At the minute, the worst was death.
My stomach became tighter, my arms light like paper, and legs stiff.
I squinted my eyes and tried not to scream, but it hurt. It hurt like I was just jumped by a group for somewhat reason.
I screamed in pain, but nothing happened.
I cried, cried, and cried, but nothing happened.
I took a deep breath and let it all fall.
I let my legs be stiff, my stomach keep tight, and arms light.
There was nothing I can do but close my eyes and stay.
Stay in pain, stay confused, stay in bed.
All I can do...
I opened my eyes, I stared at the ceiling, and sighed.
It seemed as if every time I woke up, I was in a different room.
This one was in a shape of a circle and it was white. There was a circle door that I could fit through. There was also a knob on it, and if I could get my hands on it, I'd go straight for help.
The pain was still there, though. My legs, my arms, and my stomach.
But this might be my only chance.
I straighten my back up slowly, got my legs of the bed, and took 10 steps to the door.
Maybe this was bad, what if lead to nothing but white? What if it lead to fire?
What if I got hurt even more?
I didn't care how much or what possibilities there were behind this door. I grabbed the knob, twisted it, and ta dah , it opened.
It didn't lead to white, it didn't lead to a fire, and I didn't get hurt.
Instead, it lead to a black room--again-but it wasn't the same one as before.
There was a Gothic theme to it and what even surprised me more was that there was a black throne and on that throne was someone alive.
I heard their breath, and is pattern.
Ha, hoo, ha, hoo, ha hoo.
It wasn't the kind of breathing a human or Précieux would breathe.
I stood there and stared, and it did the same thing.
It was Queen Shayene, queen of all Précieuxs!
"Kasol... you're in an eternal world right now. And if you can hear me, understand that you aren't a Précieux, but a Mythe. You have a different power in you and you eat and drink differently. Now I must say goodbye."
Everything fades to black...it was nothing.
I felt uneasy and unstable when I woke up; I was standing on the side of the road.
Where I was before, before the hurting began.
I put my best grip on the railing to steady. I took one hand off, used it to reach in my bag, and pull out my phone.
I needed help, I lost balance and felt dizzy like the world was spinning.
I dialed my mother's phone and quickly did she answer.
"Hello? Ma?" I said, first.
"Kasol! Where are you?"
"I-I don't know, I was walking and then I fell, dreamed, and I don't know. I just need you to pick me up..."
"Kasol, how can I pick you up if there's no address given?"
I looked around for any sign, and there was only one.
"Marking Lethorves."
"Sw-sweety? You alright?"
"Yeah...."
"Then why did you just say Marking Lethorves?"
"Because that's where I am..."
'Oh god, Lethorves is way in Precious! How did you get there?"
"What Ma! I don't know! I was walking, I fell, then saw a weird vision and the Queen, and I ended up here. Queen said I was different, I was a Mythe. Whats that?"
"N-no---" The line went off.
What was she saying? Is she scared of me?
"Ow!" I yell in pain, my stomach had grown even tighter making me feel like I was tied in a rope.
I didn't have anything to do , my mother had hung up the phone like I was an alien. What is a Mythe?
If I just found an answer for that, maybe I could knew why my mom was "Scared"....
Maybe...
