Vampire? Godesses?

Intro~ the young man walked into the room. Marble floors and walls made of the night sky, Glittering orbs of pure gorgeous light flickered across the walls. The man sneered in disgust, for this man has no desire for beauty or elegance. He walks towards three fair women, goddesses. "I am here to ask questions.” he states, "Ones you must answer for me." The Goddess with golden eyes looks up “You seem very sure that we will." The man laughs and nods "Well yes." Golden eyes smiles in acceptation and the man begins "I am dying, you see I am a warrior please restore me, I can help protect humanity If I am alive, is there any way you can do this?" The young man shivers in fear, hoping his question wasn’t to much to ask for. The goddesses say in Unison “No need to pay Mortal as long as you continue on your own legacy, with your own kind." They blow on crystals that fall of their hands like flower petals and conjoin into a crystalized, non-corporeal wolf. It runs straight into the man, Becoming part of him. Time 224 B.C.

I awoke, my hands clutched the collar of my shirt that was the strangest dream I have ever experienced. I hear my door creak and then It flew open. "Oh good your up." My older sister Celeste says, "Let’s get today over with shall we?" she grunts and walks away. The small pitter patters of feet as my younger sister Mary pears through the door. She runs into my room and jumps on my bed “Finally today is the day when I become like you and Celeste, Fay a lycan." She hugs me goodbye as my mother calls her name. I wonder if she would make it through the Essention. She was not destined to be one of us; our blood did not course through her veins. My mother and father saved her from things called “Vampires" I wonder what those are. 1914 New York

Almost Time

I hop out of bed. My eyes bleary with sleep and tears, I did not want my sister to go through with this. This stupid essention was reckless especially since she didn’t have the blood in her. My mother and father are the alphas, any one with lycan blood could do this, and she could not. Girls in my town wear dresses and gowns, even the poor. Me and my sisters, in fact all the lycan women, do not wear such things. We wear tight pants and tan boots that just reach the top of our calf’s, we wear our hair in side braids or wild and loosed instead of the buns most women wear, we wear small V-necked shirts with tank tops under them. The only time we do dress up is for City Dances and well the essention. I get dressed and brush my hair; it stays in its golden curls. I open my door and stalk into the living room were my mother is doing Mary's hair. "Good morning Fay, would you mind fetching Celeste?" I agreed and left the house. It was a rainy day, even though there was no rain, I could smell it. I sniffed out for Celeste finding her in a barn stroking a purring cat. “C’mon mother wants you.” I say. She laughs ominously “What to watch my adopted sister get ripped apart by a beast, No thank you." The cat looks at me and walks over to sniff my boot; I ignore my sisters comment "Celeste what is a vampire?" I ask. She walks over to me face inches away from mine "Our enemy, A leech, a killer, they suck blood, sick." she sneered in disgust, “If you ever meet one kill them, trust me on this one." I do trust her but I would have to meet one for myself one day.

The Essention

I was there. Sitting on one of the old benches in the middle of this sacred room, the one me and my sister had to go to before for the same exact reason. I sat next to Elayah, my best friend, she chatted with some lycan boy. She laughed and giggled but my expression stayed the same, constant and weary. I look to Celeste who has this same expression. I sigh and decide to take my mind of these things; there was nothing I could do to stop this. I hear the chime of bells as Mary, little Mary, walks past the metallic pillars. She was dressed in a white dress, her hair in a tight bun, and make up covering her face. She walked to the middle of the room; the priest chants the words I could never understand, magic. My sister looks in awe as the crystals form on the priest’s hands. It begins to shape and form into a wolf. I put my head in my hands so I wouldn’t have to see this part, the part where it becomes part of her. I heard a blood curdling scream as I look up to see my sisters back breaking.

2MONTHS LATER.
Mary sits in her chair, face emotionless, staring at the blazing fire. I stroke her hair. Tears threaten my eyes. I walk away from her towards Celeste who is sharpening a long knife. "We have to do something." I say. Celeste continues sharpening, "I know we have to find 'them'." I curiously look at her "Who is 'them'." I ask. “You know the goddesses that made the first lycan." I remember the legend and my dream. "We leave tonight?" I ask, Celeste grins "Yes."

First Vampire Encounter

I threw some clothes into a leather duffle bag. Inhumanly quick I grabbed everything I would need, weapons, food, clothes, containers. Celeste walks in “Are you finished?" she asks as I zip up my bag. "Yes, let’s go." I grab my bag and quietly exit the house. “Should we ready the horses?" Celeste asks. "Best if we don’t walking on foot would be better stolen horses will just cause suspicions." I say. We reach our destination seeing an old hotel. Celeste checks us in as I wait outside. This wouldn't have happened if it weren’t for my parents. I began to cry silently, nobody in these hollow streets would care. I watch the last person visible out here walk into a building. The streets are blank and silent. That’s when I hear the whimper, No human ears would be able to hear this, and it was almost like scream. I stand trying to hear for the sound again, I do. I follow the sound; my boots clicking against the cobble stone road seemed to be the only sound left but I know were the sound was coming from. I look into the dark ally and here more of a faint whimper. I see them, a woman in a long maidens dress and a young teenager about my age. His mouth clamped around her neck, I smell it, the blood and I walk towards them fist clenched, great a murderer. "HEY!" I laugh ominously, "You low life, go murder someone your own size." The teenager turned around to look at me and I gasp, he has brilliant red eyes that remind me of rubies from the most expensive stores, His skin pale and flawless as a china doll. "Hmmm like you." the boy says as he lets the maiden slump to the ground. I snap out of my trance "Yea like me I suppose." He walks closer every step is silent then he’s right in my face. "Blonde girl you really think you can stand against me?" I throw a punch at his face and he flies into the ally wall looking dazed. "You aren't human ha-ha fun." He charges at me with a speed faster than my own and throws me out of the ally. I hold my head up and see him walking out of the ally towards me. He clutches me by the throat and lifts me above the ground, I kick him in his gut and he flips in the air. Would this boy ever stop?

Blue Eyed Vampire

My head cracked against the wall. Fingers grasping at my neck, it getting harder and harder to breathe. There was only one thing to do, shift. I concentrated and then the fingers went away as my human form was torn off of me, turning into a wolf wasn’t very complicated, you just had to think about your form and it would happen its simple. The vampire boy gasped and backed away from me. My wolf form as about as big as a horse and very strong looking, any human would die of fright at a
