Chapter One: Drafted

It was a cold sunday morning I heard the door bell ring and murmering then crying I ran as fast as I could to the living room to see what was going on. i came in my mother was on the floor crying her eyes out while trying to say something but all I caught was hes' just a boy. I looked at the man he was dressed in a clean Military Sergants uniform at that moment I knew I had been drafted. He noded at me and i noded back I packed up said my goodbyes and left there was no point or way to fight it I was going with that man either way. In the jeep he introduced himself as Sgt. Mark and I introduced my self as Adder for this is my name.

For the whole ride picking up more and more drafted boys because thats what we were boys. Most kept quiet and went easy others put up a fight they knew they had a low chance of coming back maby even not a chance at all. I knew most of us wouldnt I knew and I could tell some of the others knew this as well. After we had picked up the rest of the drafted we headed towards the base Fort Willinger. That day there was no training just time to get settled in and that was it.

Chapter Two: It All Starts Here

In the morning it had all seemed like a dream but it wasnt I knew because of the grey wall I was facing when I awoke. The first day of training was bad it would continue like this for six more weeks. After six weeks of training those who had the pyhisical ability to be special operations were being chosen. I watched as those among us that were fit were being taken into jeeps each jeep had the symbol of the spec opps they were carying. Six men per jeep Green Beret filled fast then Delta Force next up was Rangers. The Rangers had two jeeps because they could take more men and it surprised me when I heard my name be called. I stood not moving until the Sgt gave me direct orders to get in the jeep I walked slowly to the jeep not knowing what was going on what had just happened it had all seemed not real.

I looked deep into the eyes of the men I had been training with for the past six weeks friends I had come to know very closly. Most of them I would never see again those that didnt get into the seals or sog wouldnt make it. This was world war three I realize this now the common soldier wont make it. As we were leaving I felt sad i had become one of their brothers we all were brothers we would all ways be brothers. We had reached the training camp for the Rangers this is where it would start all of it.

Chapter Three: Welcome To The Rangers

I could see it in the sergant's eyes to him we were all just his maggots his trainees that he could make do anything he wasnt gona stop till every last one of us were fully trained fully operational soldiers. Day one was the most pain I had ever gone threw. Weeks later my training was over we were going to be deployed as soon as they had an opening. It took three weeks before they had an opening in the airspace to drop us in. The fighting was getting heated talk of nuclear warfare was becoming more persistant. We knew even if this happened we would still be in the front lines we would be completly obliterated along with our enemys.

The day we left was a day filled with nervousnes we said nothing most of the deployment plane ride to the field of combat. The only time there was anything said was when the Sergant gave us the speech to get us ready. At the end no one cheered we knew that most of us wouldnt make it you could tell by looking into the eyes of the others they had all lost hope. They knew they could die and possibly would and I couldnt help but wonder is this what it always has been like in war. I feared for my life for everything I loved and cared for was out of my reach I could never see them again.

Chapter Four: The Field

We reached the lz at noon on thursday the tenth of December it was bitter cold. The German forces had advanced towards us they outnumbered us two to one and the fighting had begun. Their forces were strong but they had no heart we won that battle and all the way up to the fith with almost no casulties. The sixth though we lost horribly the Germans advanced and killed most of our men. I had been lucky I was in the back so we had time to prepare for the fight. we broke into two groups and flanked them ending most of the mens lives but there was stll more to come.

While we were fighting I had become disoriented and confused all I could see was white I had been flashed. It had been about a little less than 120 seconds I had done what I learned in training drop and dont move this kept me alive. When I finally could see again I wished I couldnt in front of was a mangled and bloody body of a man named Peter he had taken three bullets to the chest and a frag right from under him. The sight was horrific there was blood every where his right arm was right next to my face still warm I could see the steam rising off the lifeless limb. I couldnt stand up the sight had completly shut my body down I couldnt move.

Chapter Five: True Blood

I heard the Germans moving closer and closer I either needed to move or I would die. As I stood a bullet flew right in front of me closer to my head than I would have liked I turned and shot sending the piece of hot led into the Germans head sending him hutling to the ground blood explode from his head splattering over his friends behind him. I quickly jumed over a sand bag bunker and took cover as bullets began to fly towards me I poped my head up and fired and fired and fired till my clip was empty I switched it out as quickly as I emptied it. Each bullet that left the end of my barrel it hit someone I watched as I was dropping Germans left and right sending blood everywhere behind them leaving the ground soaked with blood and ripped off flesh to most the sight would cause them to freeze but I just kept fireing into the masses of soldiers.

I had been foucusing in on the enemys infront of me but not on the sides they closed in on me. I just caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye I jumped the bullet missing me by inches. I yurned and fired the mans head exploded leaving nothing but a stub of his neck. The sight was bloody but I kept shooting sending bullets threw everyone till there was an opening I turned and ran. I made it to another sand bag pile in which I took cover.

Chapter Six: Iron Fist

I heard a rumbling I knew what it was bomber German bombers othrwise known as the iron fist. Bombs rained apon the battle field destroying everything and everyone in its path the luck for us was a slight miscalculation so the bombers dropped to soon and didnt hit us altho we stilll lost men. The aftermath of the bombing caused a lot of the men to go crazy from the blood and gore. I stood staring out into the field I didnt know what I thought about
