Introduction

Elitists here,
your number one source into the scandalous lives of the Upper East Side’s greatest.
When you live in New York City you don’t only know everyone but you know everything. Well at least you do if you are apart on the ‘In Crowd’— the top four that rule the private schools, the designer stores, and their parent’s buy everything for them. And among those four we have the overall clichés: the hot guy and hot girl couple, the bad girl trying to change, the Queen Bee (if Bee stands for bitch) and the sex craved. At Mathis Academy there are those people—and everyone around them calls them, “Elitists’”.
The ‘In Crowd’ at Mathis? That’s a no brainer.
Eloise (Ellie) Victoria- The offspring of Denise Victoria—Paris’ top selling designer. Ellie is the hot girl in the Crowd. She always has the perfect boyfriend, the perfect dress, and the perfect scandals. How couldn’t she be In? But every hot girl needs a hot guy.
Andrew (Andy) McPherson- Part of the long line of the McPherson chain, and the hotness on the arm of Ellie V. Andrew is the It guy of the school and doesn’t fail in showing it. The more attention he gets the higher his trust fund raises.
Nicole Luton- The best friend of E and the Queen Bee of Mathis. And trust me; the Bee in her name definitely stands for Bitch. But you can’t hate her for being on top…Someone has to be. N isn’t the girl that sleeps around for sport and announces it to the world—her affairs are private. Unless they are leaked online.
And finally we have Nathaniel (Nate or Nat) Richards- Don’t take N to be the man-whore, scumbag, sex hungry bastard he looks to be…he has other traits too. Along with being the slut of the group he is able to come up with plots to bring anyone and everyone down that gets in the way of him and his best friends. Even if it includes sleeping with a few girls—that doesn’t faze him one bit.
And who am I? That’s a secret I will never tell.

You know you love me
XOXO

“Ah,” I sighed as I woke up and stretched my arms in the air.
Something about the early morning made me feel so—fresh. I was awake and aware. Aware of the fact that I had another person in my bed. Fast asleep and snoring in a seeming peaceful rest.
“Get up!” I yelled while hitting him over the head with a pillow. His brown eyes were quickly revealed and in a dazed state. I climbed off my bed and walked over to my vanity and observed myself.
“You know, most people would think that waking up together was supposed to be peaceful and sweet—not alarming and somewhat uncomfortable.
“Well most people don’t have to get ready for school at 7 in the morning. And unfortunately for you, I am one of the people that do.” I replied as I ran my silver handle brush through my brown hair.
I listened as his rose from the bed and his feet hit the hardwood floor. I turned around and saw him leaning over the bed with his head drooping down.
“I think that you better start heading home yourself. Mathis isn’t as close to your house as you think.” I reminded.
“Elle, I was hoping that this year you wouldn’t try and boss me around like you have done for the last two years of my life.” Andrew said while he walked to my mirror and took a seat next to me.
I turned and stared into his brown wide eyes. I took in the scent of his morning breath and the left over sweat of the night before. The stubble that lied upon his face was just a bonus to the overall sexy appeal to a man the night after.
“You know that I like you Andy, but I don’t have the energy to argue when I have to get dressed for the first day of school.” I replied brushing my index finger over his cheek.
I smiled at myself as he took my hand and kiss the top of it. Andy McPherson was the first man that I had ever felt so special with. Not in the sense that he had seen me out of my clothes and under the sheet but as in he made me feel important. He treated me like I was the most special woman in his life and that I couldn’t be replaced.
“So I am going to leave so that you can get ready. And I will see you in an hour?” He said standing up.
“I wouldn’t miss it.”
After picking up his jacket, Andy leaned over and planted his lips on mine. The kisses we shared were always so hot and steamy. He was the sweetest man and I loved him—even if I hadn’t told him that.

“So you love Andrew McPherson?” my best friend Nicole announced over the phone.
Nicole and I had been best friends since our 7th grade year. She and I had hated each other because we thought we were better than each other. But after I certain scandal, she and I put our differences aside and made nice.
“I don’t know N. It’s like whenever I am with him, he is the one, I can just feel you. But I get nervous that by me telling him anything, I could lose him. You know? Like scare him away.” I explained while walking down the street to school.
“Look Elle, I know that you and Andy have been together for an entire summer now, but you don’t even know if you love him. You haven’t been through any drama together so how can you know that you know him. You guys haven’t had a fight, or anything. I think those things are required to know if you love them.” Nicole fused over the phone.
I know that she had a point but I didn’t want to hear it. I loved Andy no matter what anyone said. And what did she know? She hadn’t had a real relationship since the 7th grade when I met her. And that boyfriend was the whole reason that she and I became friends. He cheated on her with me and we ended up becoming close over the whole charade.
“Look N I am on my way to school I will see you in a few.” I said ending the conversation before it got elsewhere.
“Okay. I will see you soon.”
I hung up the phone and continued to walk down the streets of Manhattan. How could she judge me? Ugh I hate that I love her so much that whenever see says something it goes straight into my head and I think she is right. Damn Nicole!
“You need a ride or are you willing to ruin a pair of Manolo’s?” I heard a distant voice call.
I turned around and saw none other than Nate Richards pulling up in his black limo. Oh do I hate Nate. He was always flaunting the fact that he had money and that he would always have money. From the late nights getting wasted at high end bars, to the unnecessary exposure of his father’s money. This would one day be his.
“You know Nate just because you compliment a girl’s shoes doesn’t mean you can get in her heart.” I replied.
“Yes but it might just guarantee me chance to get into her pants.” He replied in his oh so deviously sexist tone.
“You disgust me—”
“And you turn me on princess.” He cut me off.
I sighed as I tapped my foot against the concrete sidewalk. I looked at Nate with my head crooked and my hand on my hip. It seemed the more I attempted to push him away from me, he insisted on flirting more. I never fully understood the way his mind worked and I honestly could care less. Nate was pig and he always would be—I was better than him and I would always be.
“I don’t think that Andrew would approve of you talking to me like this Nathaniel.” I brought up the words I knew would piss him off enough for him to drive away in his little car and leave me alone.
“Little Ellie,” He got out of the car and stepped in front of me, just enough to where I could feel his breath on my lips. “Nathaniel Richards doesn’t scare me. And the more you bring him up, the more unavailable you seem to be.”
“So you’re starting to get the point?”
“No honey you should get the point,” He stepped another inch closer, “when I see something I want, I get it—even if it’s…unavailable.”
I shuddered at the sound of his tone and the look in his eyes. It was a mixture of ‘I-want-you-and-I-will-have-you’ and ‘you’re-all-mine’. This would seem to be the same thing if it was any other person. But this was Nate Richards, and no matter what the look said, I knew what it meant.
“I’ll see you at school Richards.” I said regaining my confidence. I walked past Nate and onwards toward the school. And with each step I took I exhaled breaths so my heart would stop racing.
“You will indeed.” I heard him call from behind.
I didn’t pay much attention to what he was saying, but the meaning behind it.

What’s the matter E? Afraid to go out and play? I’m sure A wouldn’t mind that it’s with his ex-bestie.

After hanging up the phone with Ellie I walked out of the bathroom and back into my room. Sitting on my bed was the ugly school uniform which consisted of a black pleated skirt, button up white blouse, red and blue striped tie, and the ugly school pin on it.
“Honey are you almost ready?” My mother called from the other side of the door.
My mother had seemed to be a part of my life a lot lately. If it wasn’t the obsessive talk times or the family dinners I would think that she truly had it out for me. I walked over and opened the door, exposing that I was still in my bra and panties and a silk robe.
“Don’t you think you should move a little faster if you plan on making it to school on time?” My mom asked looking at her $600 Chanel watch.
“Calm down my you wouldn’t want to crack your face would you?” I said sarcastically as I turned and started toward the bathroom again.
Without seeing her face I knew my mom was pissed. She hated when people accused her of getting Botox—which was true, but she denied it every chance she got. I knew that it was a low blow but I had to say something to make her leave me alone. But unfortunately, it didn’t work.
“The more you argue with me the harder this is going to be Nicole. I don’t know what I have to do to get you to realize that.” She fussed as she picked off imaginary pieces of lint of my uniform.
“Mom!” I snapped her to reality. “I made a mistake last year, I have moved on. What is it going to take for you to realize that things are fine again?” I asked.
The reason that my mom was all over me, was because of what happened last year. It was toward the end of the school year and everyone was acting crazy. I remember people making jokes at everyone, but I fondly remember the names
