A/N This is my very first Creepy Pasta and I want to improve so please comment.
Sleepy, that’s the only way to describe the town of Spooner Wisconsin. I’m not going to lie I was popular in our little town even being in middle school. Now I like to think that I’m not the only one who has that one friend who is a little deeper than everyone else, that was Tin. That of course wasn’t her real name, but that was what we called her over time we all forgot her real name. Tin unlike me was unpopular but still hung out with her and her other friend Milly. Milly was an airhead who never grew up but Tin and Milly we’re good company even though it was to catch one without the other.
Spooner, as I said before, is a sleepy and lazy town with more than half of the population old people who go to bed at seven and get cranky when they miss a show of Opera. The town was so boring and normal it was almost painful. Although the one thing that bothered me about Spooner was this barn in town. The barn is located right next to these condos on Jon court, you could tell it was old; the paint was chipping and was a muddled reddish brown colored and the windows and doors were boarded up with old wood. I never gave the barn much thought.
I was sitting on the red brick wall of the school that runs along college street just looking at the clouds enjoying my scarce free time when Tin and Milly walked by stopping looking at me.
“Hey Jay!” Milly said greeting my enthusiastically as always.
“Hi Milly, Hi Tin. What are you guys up to?” I ask feeling bad that I hadn’t talked to them during school.
“Were going on an adventure!” Milly responded and that caught my attention. I could use an adventure but what kind of adventure could you have in Spooner that you haven’t had already?
“What kind of an adventure?” I ask curious.
“You’ll see.” Tin, whom was quite through the transaction said with a smirk that I remember her using only once maybe twice before, said.
“So you’re coming with us right?” Milly asked disregarding Tin although she scared me with that one sentence but if Milly wasn’t worried then why should I? I mean Milly has known Tin for far longer, so I agreed and we started walking and talking about the latest gossip, TV shows or their latest obsession. It wasn’t till we turned on West Beaver Street that I was getting antsy.
“Hey, Tin where are we going anyway?” I ask pulling my sweater tighter as the wind slightly picked up.
“You’ll see.” She said as the wind whipped her black hair. We turned down Jon’s court and into the parking lot of the condo. Tin continued to lead us to the red barn. When we were right in front of the barn she began tearing down the old warn wood covering the door with ease. As Tin took down the wood my stomach began to turn. I really didn’t want to go in the barn.
“Wait!” I yelled getting their attention. “Isn’t this trespassing?” I ask picking first thing that crossed my mind.
“Yes, but no one will know. Haven’t you ever wondered what is in here? It’s an adventure remember, it requires breaking a few rules.” Tin said ripping free the last of the rotten wood and opening the door. Milly’s face mirrored what I feel inside, terror. Tin turned to face us.
“Come on you guys trust me right?” She asked innocently handing out her hand in a cliché way. I took her hand feeling if I didn’t I would hurt her feelings and ruin our friendship and she pulled me through the threshold with Milly following me. The barn was pretty much an open space like you would expect with a close off space containing some old rotting corn. The sun shone through the many holes of the roof and walls. It actually wasn’t that bad to be honest although it was bigger inside than it was on the outside to be honest. I felt calmer about the barn now that I was inside the building then I was upon entering. I took a good look around and felt that I could go home.
“This is boring. I thought you said we were going on an adventure?” I ask Tin.
“Come on. Let’s at least find a way to get the second story!” Milly begged which I thought was weird for her, but it’s hard to say no to Milly. I nodded and looked around finding a ladder.
“Maybe we can use this?” I ask looking at the wood testing my weight on it and it seems like it was still useable. Tin took the ladder and placed and they began climbing up.
“Aren’t you coming up?” Milly asked in her little kid way.
“No I will just wait down here for you guys okay?” I ask trying not to reveal my hidden fear of heights. They accepted this and proceeded to go up the ladder. I leaned on the wall of the barn after a while I popped my ear buds in and began playing a random game on my phone. After a while I almost drowned my phone completely out of battery I noticed how long it was since they had gone up the ladder. I stood there in silence which was alien to me since Milly and Tin were quite the talkers when together. I couldn’t shake that off and I approached the ladder and pushed my fear on the back burner. I heaved myself on the second floor. What I found was my little sister’s body on the floor in front of me. I rushed to her side to see that her eyes have been ripped out of her skull and that this was fresh. Blood that I assumed was hers spelled ‘That’s Not My Name!’ I felt hot tears crawl down my face and called out for my friends ready to leave them and go home. I got up from my spot and began looking for the others. I came to a slide door and proceeded to open it. There was a single dim blue light bulb just flickering in a white room, but Tin was limp in a chair, her eyes closed, her neck with fresh red rope burns and her messy black hair hiding her face. More tears fell out of my eyes. That’s what when I heard the door close behind me. I turn to see Milly, sweet childlike adorably innocent Milly and I hugged her as more and more tears ran down my face she hugged me back.
“Oh thank God you’re alright. Let’s go Milly.” I said and as soon as Milly left my mouth she went ridged and pushed me off her. She tucked a lock of blonde hair behind her hair before giving me a scowl that I have never seen her use.
“Milly? Is everything alright?” I asked wanting to panic but still felt the soothing calmness of the barn.
“Yes, except...” She faded out avoiding looking my in the eye.
“Except what?” I ask and then she looked me in the eye.
“My name’s not Milly!” She shrieked and I could feel my face twist in confusion as she ran towards me with a knife.
I don’t know what happened next but I woke up in a hospital. My sister was dead but who I had called Tin was alive and the person I called Milly disappeared without a trace. Some people said that she died others said she was kidnapped. I however like to think that she ran off to Canada where she finished school, made real friends, maybe fell in love and was happy. I know she killed my sister and she almost killed ‘Tin’ but I wish nothing but happiness for her. I don’t know what made her snap but in my mind she will always be sweet innocent Milly.
