Eclipse: The Graduation Scene

“ Why do they live in the middle of the woods?” Charlie said confused. We were in the car driving to the Cullen’s house for the graduation party. “ I still don’t see it. Are you sure were going the right way, Bells?” “Yeah dad I’m positive. Turn right when you see the dirt path.” I could get to their house with my eyes closed. Charlie was probably just stalling anyways. I bet he wasn’t to thrilled when he heard the party was at Edward’s house. Although I think he might be starting to like him better.

When we reached their house, Charlie parked the car at the way end of the driveway. I put my hand on the cold, silver door handle getting ready to climb out of the car and get to Edward as fast as possible. “Wait Bells before you get out of the car I want to talk to you for a sec.” Charlie said while putting his hand on my shoulder. “ Are you okay?” He asked me. “Yeah better then ever. Why?” I lied. I was anxious the whole ride here. Theres no reason he shouldn’t be suspicious. “ Well you just seem…on edge. Is there something bothering you?” At that moment I just wanted too tell him everything. About Victoria and how she wants me dead because Edward killed her lover, James. And how I’m gonna be changed soon and I that I won’t be able to see him for a very long time and how much I love him. But I can’t its not fair to him or anyone else so I just said “ No I’m just still in shock that I actually graduated 2 hours ago.” “ Oh well okay. I guess I’ll see you later then.” “Edward will drop me off so don’t pick me up.” I got out of the car and headed straight for the familiar big wooden door. A cold hand grabbed my waist and pulled me into them. I knew it was Edward automatically. He lifted my chin and our lips met. By the time pulled his face away from mine I was dizzy. “ hey” he said. He smiled my favorite crooked smile and snaked his arm around my waist guiding me inside the house
